Christ said that Unbelieving Israel's leaders would be JUDGED in His generation for shedding all the righteous blood shed on earth

Yeshua said to the Israelites/ Jews in front of Him (1^st century) that they would be responsible for all the righteous blood shed on earth which would come upon them. This is what Yeshua says in Revelation. Paul supports this judgment upon the unbelieving Israelites 1^stCentury.

 Matthew 23, 1 & 2 Thessalonians and Revelation all have the following elements-

The unbelieving Israelite leaders:

Killed the prophets.

Killed Yeshua

Killed the apostles and prophets

had their measure of sin filled

1st century unbelieving Israelis/ Jews were responsible

God's wrath falling in the 1st century "this generation," "wrath has come on them," Yeshua would "come quickly" to exercise judgment.  

Matthew 23:29-36

29 “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For YOU build the tombs ofthe prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,

30 saying, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’

31 Thus YOU witness against YOURSELVES that YOU are sons of those who murdered the prophets.

32 Fill up, then, THE MEASURE of YOUR fathers.

33 YOU serpents, YOU brood of vipers, how are YOU to escape being sentenced to hell?

34 Therefore I send YOU prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom YOU will kill and crucify, and some YOU will flog in YOUR synagogues and persecute from town to town,

35 so that on YOU may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom YOU murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.

36 Truly, I say to YOU, all these things will come upon THIS GENERATION.

37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!

1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 For YOU,brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For YOU suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews, 15 WHO KILLED BOTH THE LORD JESUS AND THE PROPHETS, and drove us out, and displease God and oppose all mankind 16 by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always to fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them at last!

2 Thessalonians 1:4

so that WE OURselves do glory in YOU in the assemblies of God, for YOUR endurance and faith in all YOUR persecutions and tribulations that ye bear; 5a token of the righteous judgment of God, for YOUR being counted worthy of the reign of God, for which also ye suffer, 6since [it is] a righteous thing with God to give back to those troubling YOU -- trouble, 7and to YOU who are troubled --rest with us in the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with messengers of his power, 8in flaming fire, giving vengeance to those not knowingGod, and to those not obeying the good news of OUR Lord JesusChrist; 9who shall suffer justice -- destruction age-during -- from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength, 10when He may come to be glorified in his saints, and to be wondered at in all those believing --because OUR testimony was believed among YOU -- in that day;

***WERE THE THESSALONNIANS AFFLICTED? DID PAUL NOT WRITE TO THEM THAT GOD WOULD GIVE THEM RELIEF WHEN YESHUA WOULD BE REVEALED FROM HEAVEN…? IS PAUL A FALSE PROPHET OR DID YESHUA AFFLICT THE THESSALONNIAN PERSECUTORS AND GIVE THE SAINTS RELIEF?

Notice how the passages below all point to unbelieving Israel in the 1st century as the culprits. A BIG THEME THROUGHOUT SCRIPTURE IS GOD AVENGING HIS SAINTS, THE MARTYRS. JUDGMENT DAY CAME IN 70AD.

Revelation 16:6 FOR THEY HAVE SHED THE BLOOD OF SAINTS AND PROPHETS and YOU have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!”

Revelation 11:8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.

***Yeshua was killed in Jerusalem. God's Word is calling evil Jerusalem - Sodom and Egypt!

Revelation 18:20-24 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!” 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,“So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more;22 and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in YOU no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in YOU no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in YOU no more, 23 and the light of a lamp will shine in YOU no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in YOU no more, for YOUR merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by YOUR sorcery. 24 And in her was found THE BLOOD OF THE PROPHETS AND SAINTS, and of all who have been slain on earth.”

Revelation 6:9-11 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been SLAIN FOR THE WORD OF GOD and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “OSovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before YOU will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Acts 5:27-31

27 When they had brought them, they had them stand before the Council. The high priest interrogated them, 28 saying, “We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and yet, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and intend to bring this Man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you put to death by hanging Him on a cross. 31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

ACTS 7:51-53 “You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did. ⁵²WHICH ONE OF THE PROPHETS DID YOUR FATHERS NOT PERSECUTE? THEY KILLED THOSE WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED THE COMING OF THE RIGHTEOUS ONE, AND YOU HAVE NOW BECOME BETRAYERS AND MURDERERS OF HIM; ⁵³you who received the Law as ordained by angels, and yet DID NOT KEEP IT.”

Revelation 17:2-6 with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. 5 And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations.” 6 And I saw the woman, DRUNK WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, THE BLOOD OF THE MARTYRS OF JESUS.

When I saw her, I marveled greatly.

Revelation 19:1-2 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:

“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS."

YESHUA WOULD COME SOON TO THE 1ST CENTURY COVENANT PEOPLE AND BRING SALVATION FOR HIS SAINTS AND JUDGMENT FOR THE AINTS.

Hebrews 9:26-28 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world BUT NOW ONCE AT THE CONSUMMATION OF THE AGES He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, WILL APPEAR A SECOND TIME for salvation without reference to sin, TO THOSE WHO EAGERLY AWAIT HIM.

Revelation 22:7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

***Matt 23:36 within that 1st century generation!

Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES was UNBELIEVING 1st Century Israel who spilled the blood of the saints and murdered the sinless, Prince of Peace, and Holy Son of God. The Bible calls Israel a harlot, adulterer, prostitute about 100 times!
