GOD'S DIVORCE of Israel, EXECUTION of Israel, and Marriage Supper by Tuese

God's Divorce of Israel, Execution of Israel, and Marriage Supper

by Tuese Ahkiong

MATTHEW 21:33-46
The Parable of the Tenants
33"Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey. 34When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.
35"The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. 36Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. 37Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said.
38"But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.' 39So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40"Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"
41"HE WILL BRING THOSE WRETCHES TO A WRETCHED END," THEY REPLIED, "AND HE WILL RENT THE VINEYARD TO OTHER TENANTS, WHO WILL GIVE HIM HIS SHARE OF THE CROP AT HARVEST TIME."
42Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone[h]; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'[i]?
43"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."[j]
45WHEN THE CHIEF PRIESTS AND THE PHARISEES HEARD JESUS' PARABLES, THEY KNEW HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THEM. 46They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.

**NOTICE HOW JESUS IS SPEAKING TO THE LEADERS OF ISRAEL AND HOW THEY KNEW JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT THEM IN THIS PARABLE.  These covenant breaking Jews were brought to an end (judged in 70AD).  But modern day zionist dispensational want Christians to believe that Jews are still God's chosen people.

MATTHEW 22:1-14

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet
1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2"The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4"Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'
5"But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7THE KING WAS ENRAGED. HE SENT HIS ARMY AND DESTROYED THOSE MURDERERS AND BURNED THEIR CITY.
8"Then he said to his servants, 'THE WEDDING BANQUET IS READY, BUT THOSE I INVITED DID NOT DESERVE TO COME. 9Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11"But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless.
13"Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
14"For many are invited, but few are chosen."

**NOTICE HOW THE WEDDING TAKES PLACE RIGHT AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CITY (JERUSALEM).

MATTHEW 23:29-39

29 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30 saying, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell? 34 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, 35 so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. 36 Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon THIS GENERATION.
37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! 38 See, your house is left to you desolate. 39 For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’
***Christ pronounces judgment upon the scribes and Pharisees as the ones who will be responsible for all the blood from Able to Zechariahl

**CHRIST SAYS STATES THAT THE APOSTATE JEWS WILL FILL UP THE MEASURE OF THEIR SIN.  WHEN IT'S FILLED IT BRINGS WRATH.

NOTICE PAUL STATES ABOUT 20 YEARS LATER FROM CHRIST THAT THE APOSTATE JEWS ARE FILLING UP THEIR SINS FOR WRATH.
THAT WRATH CAME IN 70A.D. WHEN THEIR HOUSE, JERUSALEM WAS MADE DESOLATE.

1 Thessalonians 2:16by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always to FILL UP the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them at last!

Matthew 24

Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us,when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, THIS GENERATION will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

***MATTHEW 24 IS ABOUT THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE, THE END OF THE OLD COVENANT AGE, THE HOUSE/ TEMPLE BEING MADE DESOLATE IN THAT 1ST CENTURY THIS GENERATION.
Jesus is describing the destruction of Jerusalem which symbolized and represented Israel's covenant with YHWH coming to an end v2.  The Temple represented the law, priesthood, sacrificial system, YHWH's covenant with Israel.  In v3, the disciples ask Jesus 3 questions regarding the destruction of the temple: 1) when will it be?, 2) what will be the sign of Christ's coming (to destroy the temple)?, 3) what will be the sign of the end of the age?
Jesus answers their questions from v4 onward.  In v34 He says Truly that THIS GENERATION will not pass away until ALL THESE THINGS (what He said from v4-33 concerning the temple's destruction) take place.

MATTHEWW 25:1-10

The Parable of the Ten Virgins
1"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
7"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
9" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
10"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. THE VIRGINS WHO WERE READY WENT IN WITH HIM TO THE WEDDING BANQUET. AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT.
11"Later the others also came. 'SIR! SIR!' THEY SAID. 'OPEN THE DOOR FOR US!'
12"But he replied, 'I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I DON'T KNOW YOU.'
13"Therefore keep watch, because YOU DO NOT KNOW THE DAY OR THE HOUR.

**NOTICE HOW JESUS DOES NOT KNOW THE FOOLISH VIRGINS LIKE HE DOES NOT KNOW THE EVILDOERS IN THE NEXT PASSAGE.  ALSO, THE BRIDEGROOM RETURNS TO THE 10 VIRGINS (5 WERE READY).  HE DOES NOT RETURN TO THEIR GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT X 100 GRAND-DAUGHTERS.

The Narrow Gate is Jesus, The Broad Gate is Judaism/ The Law.  The timing of this is the 1st Century.  The Judgment/Harvest would fall upon that generation in 70 A.D.  30-70A.D. is 40 years.

MATTHEW 7: 13"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. 15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. 21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lorddid we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

**Below, notice Luke's account of how Jesus was going through towns and villages to Jerusalem.  This is the context of who He is addressing about the narrow and broad gate.

Luke 13:  22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?"
He said to them, 24"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' 26"Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' 27"But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!' 28"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.29People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last."

***The historical context and audience relevance are those whom Yeshua ate and drank with and taught in their streets.
Notice how entering the narrow gate brings one into the feast in the kingdom of God.  When was the feast?  When was the door shut?  70AD at the destruction of Jerusalem.
This is the wedding supper of the lamb and His bride, the church which takes place after the destruction of Jerusalem.

MATTHEW 8
When he had entered Capernaum, a centurion came forward to him, appealing to him, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.” And he said to him, “I will come and heal him.”But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith. 11 I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

**This is the same banquet as the wedding supper of the lamb.  The sons of the kingdom in this context are the old covenant jews being cast out of the kingdom.

MATTHEW 7:15-23

A Tree and Its Fruit
15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'LORD, LORD,' WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on THAT DAY, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU. AWAY FROM ME, YOU EVILDOERS!'

**NOTICE HOW "THAT DAY" IS EQUATED WITH THE ARRIVAL OF THE BRIDEGROOM.

REVELATION 19:1-10

1After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:
"Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2FOR TRUE AND JUST ARE HIS JUDGMENTS.
HE HAS CONDEMNED THE GREAT PROSTITUTE
WHO CORRUPTED THE EARTH BY HER ADULTERIES.
HE HAS AVENGED ON HER THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS." 3And again they shouted:
"Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever."
4The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: "Amen, Hallelujah!"
5Then a voice came from the throne, saying: "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!"
6Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! FOR THE WEDDING OF THE LAMB HAS COME, AND HIS BRIDE HAS MADE HERSELF READY. 8Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)
9Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE INVITED TO THE WEDDING SUPPER OF THE LAMB!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God."
10At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

***THE GREAT PROSTITUTE IS APOSTATE ISRAEL.  KEEP IN MIND THAT SCRIPTURE SPEAKS OF

2 ISRAEL'S; ONE THAT IS PHYSICAL, APOSTATE, UNDER THE LAW ISRAEL and THE OTHER THAT IS SPIRITUAL, THE SERVANTS, BORN FROM ABOVE, REMNANT, UNDER THE PROMISE, GRACE ISRAEL.

2 CORINTHIANS 11:2
For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

**In this passage, Paul identifies the pure virgin, the Israel of Above, The Bride of Christ.

**NOTICE HOW THE AVENGING OF THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS IS THE JUDGING OF THE GREAT PROSTITUTE (ADULTEROUS WIFE), JERUSALEM.

REVELATION 16:6 FOR THEY HAVE SHED THE BLOOD OF YOUR SAINTS AND PROPHETS, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve."

REVELATION 18:24 “And in her [the Great City Babylon] was found THE BLOOD OF PROPHETS AND OF SAINTS AND OF ALL WHO HAVE BEEN SLAIN ON THE EARTH.”

REVELATION 19:1-2 After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God 2 BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER.”

**DID NOT JESUS SAY TO TEACHERS OF THE LAW AND PHARISEES THAT HE WOULD AVENGE THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS (MATT. 23) UPON THEM IN THAT 1st CENTURY GENERATION?  YES.
