Were the Bible writers Paul, Peter, James and John FALSE PROPHETS?

Jesus speaks in Luke 21 about the destruction of the temple and responds to the questions of His disciples. He says to his then present disciples that many will lead people astray by coming in his name and saying “I am he!” and THE TIME IS AT HAND!”
Well, Paul, Peter, James and John each stated that “The Lord is at hand,” “the end of all things is at hand,” “the time is near," and "what must soon take place." Does that make them false prophets? Yes, but only if what they said did not come true. What do you think?

The Olivet Discourse took place somewhere between 27-33 A.D. "THE TIME IS AT HAND..." context is the destruction of the temple. Jesus says it would be destroyed within the generation he spoke to. In 70AD the temple was destroyed by The Romans. A fulfillment of what these Bible writers wrote.

Luke 21: 5-9 And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6"As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down." 7And they asked him, "Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?" 8And he said, "See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he!' and, 'The time is at hand!' Do not go after them.
9And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once."

Romans 13:11-13 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. 12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy.

Philippians 4:5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;

James 5:7-9 Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. 8You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.

Hebrews 10:37 For,“Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay;

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

I Jn. 2:17 “THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY, and its desires.”

I Jn. 2:18 Children, IT IS THE LAST HOUR, and as you haveheard that ANTICHRIST IS COMING, so NOW MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE COME. Thereforewe know that IT IS THE LAST HOUR.

****Notice how John records imminent language all over the book of Revelation from “soon take place” to “the time is near” to “Behold, I am coming soon or quickly.”

Rev. 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants THE THINGS THAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

Rev. 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, FOR THE TIME IS NEAR.

Rev.1.4 John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace Rev 2:5 ‘Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first or ELSE I AM COMING TO YOU and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.

Rev 2:16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I WILL SOON COME TO YOU and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Rev. 2:25 “Nevertheless what YOU HAVE, HOLD FAST UNTIL I COME.”

Rev 3:3 ‘So remember what you have received and heard and keep it, and repent Therefore if you do not wake up, I WILL COME LIKE A THIEF, AND YOU WILL NOT KNOW AT WHAT HOUR I WILL COME TO YOU

Rev. 3:10“I also WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TESTING WHICH IS ABOUT TO COME UPON THE WHOLE WORLD.”

Rev. 3:11 I AM COMING SOON. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

Rev. 12:5 “And she gave birth to a son, a male child, WHO IS ABOUT TO RULE ALL THE NATIONS WITH A ROD OF IRON.”

Rev. 22:6 And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants WHAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE."

Rev. 22:7 "And behold, I AM COMING SOON. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

Rev. 22:10 And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, FOR THE TIME IS NEAR.
Dan 8:26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but SEAL UP THE VISION, FOR IT CONCERNS THE DISTANT FUTURE.”

Rev. 22:12 “Behold, I AM COMING QUICKLY.”

Rev. 22:20 “Yes, I AM COMING QUICKLY.”

Either Paul, Peter, James and John were FALSE PROPHETS or what they said was true and it happened. God does not lie. His Word is True. His prophets prophesied The Truth.
