How did Christians MISS "The Second Coming" of Christ in 70AD?

How did Christians MISS "The Second Coming" of Christ in 70AD?

Ideas are powerful!  Words contain ideas.  The Word of God anointed by The Holy Spirit is extremely powerful in transforming one's understanding, perspective and worldview!

I am excited that more and more people are seeing that The Return of Christ/ "Second Coming" took place already in 70 A.D. within a generation as Yeshua said. Matt 24:34  There's a lot of work to be done because hundreds of millions of believers have been led astray by traditions, creeds, confession, and left behind movies in this area. lol.

Being a fighter at heart, it's good to wrestle through Scripture as a Berean to see if these things are so. If you're a lover of God's Word, I welcome being sharpened. Bring it! I love growing in The Word.

Access to The Scriptures by the common man has been relatively short and small; 400 years in a limited sense since The Reformation.

Just like salvation is a gift received that is all of God, so, too, understanding that The Return of Christ took place is a divine gift illuminated by The Holy Spirit as one studies.
-Thank you, Lord!
If you received this gift, please holler!!!

-So, here is the idea that I'm planting:

The Return of Christ/ "Second Coming" took place in 70 A.D.

-For those of you who have actually read through Scripture, especially the New Testament and came across tons of imminent language of Christ's Return being soon, near, at hand to the first century believers, didn't that language bother you. Morpheus from The Matrix explains exactly what I was feeling when reading Scripture.

"I know *exactly* what you mean. Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?"

So, does Scripture teach that The Return of Christ would take place in that first century generation? YES.

Of course, some will be totally disturbed by this claim because it will challenge what they have been taught and indoctrinated into all their lives. This will effect their understanding of The Resurrection, Hell, The New Heavens and Earth, The Beast, The Antichrist(s)....

But the ultimate test is does The Holy Bible teach this? btw, this theological view that all prophecy was fulfilled by 70A.D. is known as preterism.

I'm just planting a seed. Some will grow and some won't and that's ok with me. I just love spreading God's Word which does not return void. God is The One that quickens IT in the heart. If you're interested in growing exponentially in Scripture, holler at me.

So, I've planted the idea:

The Return of Christ/ "Second Coming" took place in 70 A.D.
