Enemies of Preterism including Partial-Preterists who are not true Preterists but wannabe Preterists and still futurists, will attack Preterists by calling them Heretics and/or Hyper-Preterist. But in order for something to be hyper, there must be 1 degree before hyper that is the basic or standard position: FULL PRETERISM or PRETERISM.  And that standard position is NOT partial-preterism. So, this is the word game, ad hominem, name calling trick that the enemies of Preterism use, including Partial-Preterists, to marginalize, sensationalize and demonize Real Preterists: FULL PRETERISM. They equate Full Preterism with Hyper-Preterism and assume that Partial Preterism is the standard position and definition of preterism. These enemies then attack their Hyper-Preterist strawman when actually attacking (Full) Preterists. 

For THE ENEMIES who love taking Scripture out of context:

Many Partial-Preterists (R.C. Sproul, Hank Hanegraaf, Gary DeMar, Kenneth Gentry, Jr) remain partial because they know the Preterist hermeneutic is correct and makes the best and most sense of Scripture.  To stray away from Creeds, Confessions and some Churchianity Traditions of men may put them in the realm of heretic and loss of financial support.  They know that if they embrace The Truth, Full Preterism, than they will lose support.

A prophet who prophesies in The Name of YHWH must be 100% correct upon what they prophesied.

A prophet cannot teach anything contrary to The Bible like worshipping other gods.

  

Deuteronomy 13:1-5  

“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, ² and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ ³ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. ⁴ You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. ⁵ BUT THAT PROPHET OR THAT DREAMER OF DREAMS SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

**A prophet must teach correctly about God when he or she makes a prophecy or be put to death.  The prophet cannot teach to go after other gods.

Deuteronomy 18:20-22

 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— 

²² when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

**A prophet predictions must come true 100% of the time or be put to death because he or she is speaking falsely in God’s Name.

**Even angels can appear with a message, i.e., Islam, Mormonism, JWs…)  That message must be TESTED against Scripture.

***Spirits or a person’s beliefs can be tested whether they are from God or not.  Is what they are teaching consistent with Scripture?
