THE ADOPTION OF GOD PERTAINED ONLY TO ISRAELITES by Michael Beiras

The scriptures pertaining to being “adopted” as a son of God referenced Israelites not us. 

Romans 9:4

“who are Israelites, to whom pertain the ADOPTION, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;”

The ADOPTION of God  pertained to ISRAEL not humanity. 

Galatians 4:4-6 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to REDEEM those who were UNDER the LAW, that we might receive the ADOPTION as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

Did you catch the power of that? Jesus was born under the law to REDEEM and ADOPT those under the LAW. Humanity was not under the Mosaic law but Israelites sure were.
