The Kingdom of Israel began under King Saul, David, Solomon.
The Kingdom was divided under Rehoboam and Jehoboam and split into 2 kingdoms with Israel in the North with Jehoboam and Judah in the South with Rehoboam.
Israel, The Northern Kingdom was cut off and SCATTERED among the nations like lost sheep for their sins, especially of idolatry.
Scripture teaches that Israel would be GATHERED out of the nations and brought back.
They were fished out of the nations by The Gospel by 70AD.

ISRAEL SCATTERED AMONG THE NATIONS
AND I WILL SCATTER YOU AMONG THE NATIONS, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
AND THE LORD WILL SCATTER YOU AMONG THE PEOPLES, AND YOU WILL BE LEFT FEW IN NUMBER AMONG THE NATIONS WHERE THE LORD WILL DRIVE YOU.
YOU HAVE MADE US LIKE SHEEP FOR SLAUGHTER AND HAVE SCATTERED US AMONG THE NATIONS.
I WILL SCATTER THEM AMONG THE NATIONS WHOM NEITHER THEY NOR THEIR FATHERS HAVE KNOWN, AND I WILL SEND THE SWORD AFTER THEM, UNTIL I HAVE CONSUMED THEM.”
For I am with you to save you, declares the Lord; I will make a full end of all THE NATIONS AMONG WHOM I SCATTERED YOU, but of you I will not make a full end. I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.
“Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away; say, ‘HE WHO SCATTERED ISRAEL WILL GATHER HIM, AND WILL KEEP HIM AS A SHEPHERD KEEPS HIS FLOCK.’
“Yet I will leave some of you alive. When you have among the nations some who escape the sword, and WHEN YOU ARE SCATTERED THROUGH THE COUNTRIES,
Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: THOUGH I REMOVED THEM FAR OFF AMONG THE NATIONS, AND THOUGH I SCATTERED THEM AMONG THE COUNTRIES, YET I HAVE BEEN A SANCTUARY TO THEM FOR A WHILE IN THE COUNTRIES WHERE THEY HAVE GONE.’
And they shall know that I am the Lord, whenI DISPERSE THEM AMONG THE NATIONS AND SCATTER THEM AMONG THE COUNTRIES.
Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness thatI WOULD SCATTER THEM AMONG THE NATIONS AND DISPERSE THEM THROUGH THE COUNTRIES,
As a pleasing aroma I will accept you, WHEN I BRING YOU OUT FROM THE PEOPLES AND GATHER YOU OUT OF THE COUNTRIES WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN SCATTERED.And I will manifest my holiness among you in the sight of the nations.
I WILL SCATTER YOU AMONG THE NATIONS AND DISPERSE YOU THROUGH THE COUNTRIES,and I will consume your uncleanness out of you.
[ Israel Gathered in Security ] “Thus says the Lord God: WHEN I GATHER THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL FROM THE PEOPLES AMONG WHOM THEY ARE SCATTERED,and manifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations, THEN THEY SHALL DWELL IN THEIR OWN LAND THAT I GAVE TO MY SERVANT JACOB.
I SCATTERED THEM AMONG THE NATIONS, AND THEY WERE DISPERSED THROUGH THE COUNTRIES. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them.
“AND I SCATTERED THEM WITH A WHIRLWIND AMONG ALL THE NATIONS THAT THEY HAD NOT KNOWN.Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate.”
Though I scattered them among the nations,yet in far countries they shall remember me, and WITH THEIR CHILDREN THEY SHALL LIVE AND RETURN.
GATHERED FROM AMONG THE NATIONS
Say also: “SAVE US, O GOD OF OUR SALVATION, AND GATHER AND DELIVER US FROM AMONG THE NATIONS, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
SAVE US, O LORD OUR GOD, AND GATHER US FROM AMONG THE NATIONS,that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and GATHER THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.
ALL THE NATIONS GATHER TOGETHER, and the peoples assemble. Who among them can declare this, and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses to prove them right, and let them hear and say, It is true.
“For I know their works and their thoughts, AND THE TIME IS COMING TO GATHER ALL NATIONS AND TONGUES. AND THEY SHALL COME AND SHALL SEE MY GLORY,
At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and ALL NATIONS SHALL GATHER TO IT, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart.
I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and GATHER YOU FROM ALL THE NATIONS AND ALL THE PLACES WHERE I HAVE DRIVEN YOU, DECLARES THE LORD, AND I WILL BRING YOU BACK TO THE PLACE FROM WHICH I SENT YOU INTO EXILE.

I WILL TAKE YOU FROM THE NATIONSAND GATHER YOU FROM ALL THE COUNTRIES AND BRING YOU INTO YOUR OWN LAND.
then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I WILL TAKE THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL FROM THE NATIONS AMONG WHICH THEY HAVE GONE, AND WILL GATHER THEM FROM ALL AROUND, AND BRING THEM TO THEIR OWN LAND.
WHEN I HAVE BROUGHT THEM BACK FROM THE PEOPLES AND GATHERED THEM FROM THEIR ENEMIES' LANDS, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, ON BEHALF OF MY PEOPLE AND MY HERITAGE ISRAEL,because THEY HAVE SCATTERED THEM AMONG THE NATIONS AND HAVE DIVIDED UP MY LAND,
BEFORE HIM WILL BE GATHERED ALL THE NATIONS, AND HE WILL SEPARATE PEOPLE ONE FROM ANOTHER AS A SHEPHERD SEPARATES THE SHEEP FROM THE GOATS.
and not for THE NATION ONLY, but also TO GATHER INTO ONE THE CHILDREN OF GOD WHO ARE SCATTERED ABROAD.

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

ReplyDeleteIsrael was scattered by THE LORD and then gathered by THE LORD. Just pointing that these prophecies were fulfilled and there is no future gathering.
