GOD ONLY MADE HIMSELF INTIMATELY KNOWN TO ISRAEL & SAYS HE LOVES ISRAEL OVER AND OVER.
Amos 3:1-2
Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt: 2 “YOU ONLY HAVE I KNOWN OF ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
**YHWH does NOT KNOW other families/ nations like He KNOWS Israel!
Deuteronomy 4:32-37
“Indeed, ask now concerning the former days which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and inquire from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything been done like this great thing, or has anything been heard like it?33 Has any people heard the voice of God speaking from the midst of the fire, as you have heard it, and survived? 34 Or has a god tried to go to take for himself a nation from within another nation by trials, by signs and wonders and by war and by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm and by great terrors, as the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? 35 To you it was shown that you might know that the Lord, He is God; there is no other besides Him. 36 Out of the heavens He let you hear His voice to discipline you; and on earth He let you see His great fire, and you heard His words from the midst of the fire. 37 BECAUSE HE LOVED YOUR FATHERS, THEREFORE HE CHOSE THEIR DESCENDANTS AFTER THEM. AND HE PERSONALLY BROUGHT YOU FROM EGYPT by His great power,
**YHWH chose exclusively to love Israel and not other nations.
Deuteronomy 7:6
“FOR YOU ARE A PEOPLE HOLY TO THE LORD YOUR GOD. THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS CHOSEN YOU TO BE A PEOPLE FOR HIS TREASURED POSSESSION, OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLES WHO ARE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.
**YHWH chose ISRAEL out all other peoples/ nations on earth to be His people. In Scripture, He does not show such affection to other nations!
Deuteronomy 10:15
15 Yet THE LORD SET HIS AFFECTION ON YOUR ANCESTORS AND LOVED THEM, and HE CHOSE YOU, THEIR DESCENDANTS, ABOVE ALL THE NATIONS—as it is today.
**YHWH chose to love Israel above other nations.
Deuteronomy 23:5
However, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, BECAUSE THE LORD YOUR GOD LOVES YOU.
**YHWH LOVES ISRAEL.
Psalm 147:19-20
HE DECLARES HIS WORD TO JACOB,
HIS STATUTES AND RULES TO ISRAEL.
20 HE HAS NOT DEALT THUS WITH ANY OTHER NATION; THEY DO NOT KNOW HIS RULES. Praise the Lord!
***Who ONLY had YHWH’s statutes, rules? Israel.
Therefore, you are not under the Mosaic Old Covenantal Law
Exodus 19:5-6
Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then YOU SHALL BE MY OWN POSSESSION AMONG ALL THE PEOPLES, for all the earth is Mine; 6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
**YHWH says if Israel OBEYS, they shall be His own possession among all people! Does YHWH speak like this of Samoans, Filipinos, Chinese, Irish…?
Psalm 44:3
It was not by their sword that they won the land,
nor did their arm bring them victory;
it was your right hand, your arm,
and the light of your face, FOR YOU LOVED THEM.
YHWH loves Israel.
Psalm 135:4
FOR THE LORD HAS CHOSEN JACOB to be his own,
ISRAEL TO BE HIS TREASURED POSSESSION.
YHWH chose Jacob and Israel is His treasured possession. Does Scripture teach that YHWH chose other nations to be His treasure? Nope.
Jeremiah 31:3
3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I HAVE LOVED YOU WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE; I HAVE DRAWN YOU WITH UNFAILING KINDNESS.
YHWH loves Israel with an EVERLASTING LOVE. Does YHWH speak this way of Russians, Australians, Mexicans?? Negative!
Hosea 11:1
“WHEN ISRAEL WAS A CHILD, I LOVED HIM, and out of Egypt I called my son.
YHWH loves Israel as a child. Does YHWH speak of loving another nation in the world?
Malachi 1:2 “I HAVE LOVED YOU,” SAYS THE LORD. “But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’“Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “YET I HAVE LOVED JACOB,
YHWH loves Israel (Jaccob).
Romans 3:2
Much in every way. To begin with, THE JEWS WERE ENTRUSTED WITH THE ORACLES OF GOD.
YHWH entrusts His Word with the Jews.
Romans 9:4 THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL. THEIRS IS THE ADOPTION TO SONSHIP; THEIRS THE DIVINE GLORY, THE COVENANTS, THE RECEIVING OF THE LAW, THE TEMPLE WORSHIP AND THE PROMISES.
**Who gets the adoption to sonship? Who is given the covenants? Who received The Law? Who could worship in the temple? Who were given YHWH’s promises?
Romans 11:25-28 do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 AND THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM
WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.”
28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, THEY ARE LOVED ON ACCOUNT OF THE PATRIARCHS,
**Who does YHWH make Old & New Covenant with? Israel is loved because of Patriarchs.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN PEOPLE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, GOD’S SPECIAL POSSESSION, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
**Israel is YHWH’s CHOSEN PEOPLE, ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, HOLY NATION, GOD’S SPECIAL POSSESSION. Does He speak of any nation this way? Nope.
Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, He says, “Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, WHEN I WILL EFFECT A NEW COVENANT
WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH;
**YHWH makes NEW COVENANT with Israel.
Hebrews 9:15
For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, SINCE A DEATH HAS TAKEN PLACE FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE TRANSGRESSIONS THAT WERE COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
**Whose sins were committed under the first covenant??? Israel.
Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5 SO THAT HE MIGHT REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW, THAT WE MIGHT RECEIVE THE ADOPTION AS SONS.
***Christ was born under the law. Who was under THE LAW? ISRAEL. Who gets adopted? Israel.
