Why does The Bible call Isaac, Abraham’s only son when Abraham’s first biological son was still alive?

Genesis 16:15-16
15 And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
**Ishmael was Abram’s first biological son.
He said, “Take YOUR SON, YOUR ONLY SON ISAAC, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, YOUR ONLY SON, from me.”
and said, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, YOUR ONLY SON,
**Isaac is Abraham’s second biological son that is alive with his half brother Ishmael. Why does the bible call Isaac, Abraham’s only son? Isaac was the son of Covenant Promise? So, Scripture teaches that there is a difference between covenant sons and biological sons.
By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up HIS ONLY SON,
Genesis 21:10 Therefore she said to Abraham, “(A)Drive out this maid and her son, for THE SON OF THIS MAID SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH MY SON ISAAC.”
Galatians 4:21-31 Tell me, you who want to be under law, do you not listen to the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman and one by the free woman. 23 But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise. 24 This is allegorically speaking, for THESE WOMEN ARE TWO COVENANTS: one proceeding from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar. 25 Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. 27 For it is written,

FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN.”
BREAK FORTH AND SHOUT, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR;
FOR MORE NUMEROUS ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DESOLATE

We see that YHWH makes a distinction between those who are FREE by being in Covenant with Him and those who are in bondage.
