Genesis 22:2 Then God said, “TAKE YOUR SON, YOUR ONLY SON, WHOM YOU LOVE—Isaac—and go to THE REGION OF MORIAH. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Genesis 22:14 So Abraham called that place THE LORD WILL PROVIDE. And to this day it is said, “ON THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD IT WILL BE PROVIDED.”

**YHWH provides a ram sacrifice and spares Isaac.

2 Chronicles 3:1 [ Solomon Builds the Temple ] Then Solomon began to build the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem ON MOUNT MORIAH, where the Lord had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the place provided by David.

**Did you know that Jerusalem was built upon Mt Moriah?  Interesting how over thousand years later, YHWH, would bring His Son to that same area and not spare Him. 

Romans 8:32  He who did NOT spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

John 3:14-18  ¹⁴ As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, ¹⁵ that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. ¹⁸ He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

1 John 4:9  In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God SENT HIS ONLY SON INTO THE WORLD, so that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
