GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR A MAN

GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR A MAN
by Tuese Ahkiong

The ideal of Biblical Manhood is FATHERHOOD.

Throughout Scripture, we see God (the supreme leader) as FATHER.  We see the families; people of God led by fathers.  From Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the book of Genesis, through the appointing of elders for the New Testament Church in the book of 1Timothy, we see the unique role of leadership given to fathers.  And, although our Lord Jesus Christ came not as a human father, Isaiah confirms his role as “Everlasting Father.”

The goal for the Christian disciple who is a male is to discover and emulate the qualities of Godly FATHERHOOD.

Based on the ideal of Godly fatherhood, a man should develop himself to fulfill the following roles.  These are also the roles into which we must develop younger men through DISCIPLESHIP and TRAINING  *Malachi 1:6

  1. LEADER

  1. PROVIDER

  1. PROTECTOR

4.    TEACHER

  1. INITIATOR

  1. LOVER

The Qualities that Make a Man are:
