THE RESURRECTION WAS CORPORATE and NOT about individual physical bodies coming up out of the ground.

This is for you thinking Christians. Got into a awesome discussion with brothers about the resurrection and its nature.
Here are some notes I put together on just a few verses on how THE RESURRECTION WAS CORPORATE and NOT individual bodies coming up out of the ground. The resurrection was for Israel and it was a resurrection out of the body of death/ old covenant and into the new covenant/ the body of Christ.
In Scripture, body (soma) can reference physical bodies like the human body or animal body. It can also refer corporately to the body of Christ (the church) or like in a “student body” or “body of knowledge.”
1. Romans 6:6 We know that our OLD SELF was crucified with him in order that the BODY OF SIN might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
**The body of sin is not one’s individual physical body but the corporate body of old covenant Israel
2. Romans 7:24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this BODY OF DEATH?
**Paul is not talking about his individual physical body but the old covenant corporate body of Israel which was a ministry of death. 2 Corinthians 3:7 Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,
3. Colossians 2:11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the BODY OF THE FLESH, by the circumcision of Christ,
**How can living breathing Christian Colossians put off their flesh? Hello! The text is not talking about individual physical bodies but the corporate old covenant body.  The Old Covenant represented the flesh.  This is how Paul is using "the body of the flesh" as representative of Old Covenant Israel.
4. Jude 1:9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the BODY OF MOSES, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.”
***Michael and the devil were not fighting over the physical body of Moses but the corporate body of Israel.
