Didn’t Jesus nail the law to the cross? By Michael Beiras

Didn’t Jesus nail the law to the cross?

By Michael Beiras

Colossians 2:14 “having wiped out the HANDWRITING OF REQUIREMENTS that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having NAILED IT to the CROSS.”

Didn’t Jesus abolish the law?

Ephesians 2:15 “having ABOLISHED in His flesh the enmity, that is, the LAW of COMMANDMENTS contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,”

Was the end of sins at the destruction of the Temple?

Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for YOUR HOLY CITY, To finish the transgression, To MAKE an END of SINS. To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.”

Did Jesus put away sin?

Hebrews 9:26 “He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to PUT AWAY SIN by the sacrifice of Himself.”
