In Hosea the scattered Israelites are called *not my people* and Hosea prophesies that later God would regather them and then they would be called *my people* again.

So, if one is NOT God’s People, then they’re just People or Gentiles/ Nations.

Hos 1:9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for *ye are not my people*, and I will not be your God.

**Hosea says the number of the children OF ISRAEL will be as the ‘sands of the sea’ but God will call a ‘remnant’ out of them.

Hos 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, *Ye are not my people*, there it shall be said unto them, *Ye are the sons of the living God*.

Hos 1:11 Then shall the children of Judah (southern tribes) and the children of Israel (northern tribes) be GATHERED TOGETHER, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Now, knowing this verse in Hosea about Judah and Israel being scattered and ‘cut off’ by breaking the Mosaic Covenant but reconciled and ‘regathered’ later.

... in Romans 9:24-29, Paul brings it up! Notice the question mark at the end of ‘gentile’ in

Rom 9:24: “whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?”

Paul then quotes Hosea 1:9 to define the ‘gentile’ narrative:

25 As he says in Hosea:

“I will call them *‘my people’ who are *not my people;

and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”

26 and, “In the very place where it was said to them,

‘You are not my people,’

there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ ”

Paul is telling his readers in Rome that they are the remnant descendants of the tribes of Israel, the seed of Abraham to whom the promise of the NC Kingdom was to (Rom9:3-5). The ‘called’, the elect ‘remnant’ out of the ‘sands of the sea’. They were the scattered elect (lost sheep) being regathered, reconciled back into the (sheep) fold. (the sheep from another fold that Christ spoke of).

1Pet 2:10 Which in time past were (not a people), but are now (the people of God);which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

***Peter is writing to the same audience as Paul.

The *not my people* were scattered Israelites who had been ‘cut off’ by the curse of the Mosaic Law for their ‘uncircumcision’ and idolatry.

They were transgressing (breaking) the Mosaic Law due to their ‘uncircumcision’ and were called *not my people*.

Jesus then fulfilled that Law (Gal4) so that they could be regathered into a New Covenant (Heb8:8) and then be called the *children of the living God*. (This was the ‘manifestation of the sons of God’)

My Sheep Hear My Voice:

Paul would speak out in the open, and the ‘elect’, ‘chosen’, ‘pre-ordained’ sheep among the nations would ‘hear His voice’ and would come. (the answer to Acts17)

The Bride:

The New Covenant bride is listed in Revelation 7.

They were ONLY Israelites from the 12 tribes.

The 144K and the Great Multitude were the SAME GROUP.

John HEARS the number of them, then LOOKS to see them.

It’s the same group.

The bride only consisted of Israelites.

This happened in the 1st century.

Paul tells the gentiles that if they were Christs’, that meant they were the chosen scattered elect. It meant they first were Abraham’s literal descendant seed, and then it meant that they had faith in Messiah.

Gal 3:29

“If you are Christ’s, [it is first because] you are Abraham’s seed to whom the promise was made to, and secondly [it is because] you have faith.”

* The ‘gentiles’ that the Apostles were sent to regather were scattered Israelites.

Matthew 10:6

but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

* The ‘remnant’ came from both Judah (Jews) and Israel (other Israelites).

Heb 8:8

“…I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah” and NOT you reading this story 2000 years later lol.

Jesus:

“I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 15:24

Genesis 48:19

And his father refused and said, I know it, my son, I know it; he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of Gentiles.

Romans 11:25-27

This explains how when the ‘fullness of the gentiles’ came in, equates to ALL ISRAEL being saved (from the Judgement of AD70).
