THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS FOR ISRAEL ONLY

In The Old Testament THE HOLY SPIRIT was present with Israel. We then see YHWH becoming Israel’s enemy and Israel cut off from YHWH’s presence because of their sin. THE HOLY SPIRIT was then promised to be POURED OUT upon YHWH’s People, Israel (Jacob) in the future. This took place between 30-70AD during Israel’s LAST DAYS when Yeshua’s fishermen, the Apostles & Disciples FULFILLED their “Great Commission” of fishing out the lost sheep of the house of Israel with The Gospel which was only for them!

So, how the heck have people since 70AD to today 2022 make the claim that they have The Holy Spirit when The Holy Spirit was only promised to Israel!?

Answer: They pick up an ancient book and start reading the last quarter (NT) and ASSUME it’s written to them in whatever year after 70AD that they picked it up. They have a transformational experience and equate that with The Holy Spirit. They do not study the back story of who the Holy Spirit was promised to in the first 3 quarters (OT) because most supposed “Christians” today do not see the OT as important to read and study!

1) ISAIAH 63:10-11 BUT THEY REBELLED AND GRIEVED HIS HOLY SPIRIT; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? WHERE IS HE WHO PUT IN THE MIDST OF THEM HIS HOLY SPIRIT,

2) EZEKIEL 18:³⁰“THEREFORE I WILL JUDGE YOU, O HOUSE OF ISRAEL, EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS, DECLARES THE LORD GOD. REPENT AND TURN FROM ALL YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS, LEST INIQUITY BE YOUR RUIN. ³¹CAST AWAY FROM YOU ALL THE TRANSGRESSIONS THAT YOU HAVE COMMITTED, AND MAKE YOURSELVES A NEW HEART AND AND A NEW SPIRIT! WILL YOU DIE, O HOUSE OF ISRAEL? ³²For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.”

3) EZEKIEL 36:22  Therefore SAY TO THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but FOR THE SAKE OF MY HOLY NAME, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. ²³AND I WILL VINDICATE THE HOLINESS OF MY GREAT NAME, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. ²⁴I WILL TAKE YOU FROM THE NATIONS AND GATHER YOU FROM ALL THE COUNTRIES AND BRING YOU INTO YOUR OWN LAND. ²⁵I WILL SPRINKLE CLEAN WATER ON YOU, AND YOU SHALL BE CLEAN FROM ALL YOUR UNCLEANNESSES, AND FROM ALL YOUR IDOLS I WILL CLEANSE YOU. ²⁶AND I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART, AND A NEW SPIRIT I WILL PUT WITHIN YOU. AND I WILL REMOVE THE HEART OF STONE FROM YOUR FLESH AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. ²⁷AND I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES AND BE CAREFUL TO OBEY MY RULES. ²⁸You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. ²⁹And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you. ³⁰I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. ³¹Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. ³²It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

4) EZEKIEL 39:²⁵“Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, and I will be jealous for my holy name. ²⁶They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid, ²⁷when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.²⁸Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. ²⁹And I will not hide my face anymore from them, WHEN I POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, DECLARES THE LORD GOD.”

5) JOEL 2:²⁷YOU SHALL KNOW THAT I AM IN THE MIDST OF ISRAEL, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.

²⁸“And it shall come to pass afterward,

THAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH;
YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY,
your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
²⁹Even on the male and female servants
IN THOSE DAYS I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT.

³⁰“And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. ³¹The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, BEFORE THE GREAT AND AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD COMES. ³²And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.

6) ISAIAH 32:14-20 ¹⁴For the palace is forsaken, the populous city deserted; the hill and the watchtower will become dens forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;
¹⁵UNTIL THE SPIRIT IS POURED UPON US FROM ON HIGH, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.
¹⁶Then justice will dwell in the wilderness,
and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.
¹⁷And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.
¹⁸My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
¹⁹And it will hail when the forest falls down,
and the city will be utterly laid low.
²⁰Happy are you who sow beside all waters,
who let the feet of the ox and the donkey range free.

7) ZECHARIAH 12:10 “AND I WILL POUR OUT ON THE HOUSE OF DAVID AND THE INHABITANTS OF JERUSALEM A SPIRIT OF GRACE AND PLEAS FOR MERCY, SO THAT, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

Christ is speaking to His Israelite Disciples and Apostles about the promises of The Holy Spirit.

Btw, when you see the word “you” in some of these Bible verses, it’s NOT YOU reading the verse! LOL. Find out who the antecedent of “you” is and it’s majority of the time the disciples/ apostles who Christ spoke His words to!

Other times the “you” can be who it’s written to like the church in Rome, Galatia, Corinth… or Timothy, Titus, Philemon…

8) Mark 13:11 And when they bring YOU to trial and deliver YOU over, do not be anxious beforehand what YOUare to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is NOT YOU WHO SPEAK, BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT.

9) Luke 2:25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, WAITING FOR THE CONSOLATION OF ISRAEL, and the HOLY SPIRIT was upon him.

10) Luke 2:26 And it had been revealed to him by the HOLY SPIRIT that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

11) Luke 12:12 for the HOLY SPIRIT will teach YOU in that very hour what YOU ought to say.”

12) JOHN 7:39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

13) John 14:26 But the Helper, the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach YOU all things and bring to YOUR remembrance all that I have said to YOU.

14) John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on THEM and said to THEM, “Receive the HOLY SPIRIT.   

15) Acts 1:1   In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach, 2 until the day when he was taken up, after he had given commands through the HOLY SPIRIT TO THE APOSTLES whom he had chosen.

16) Acts 1:5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the HOLY SPIRIT not many days from now.”

17) Acts 1:8 But YOU will receive power when the HOLY SPIRIT has come upon YOU, and YOU will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

18) ACTS 2. When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. ²And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. ³And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. ⁴And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

    and your old men shall dream dreams;
¹⁸even on my male servants and female servants  in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
¹⁹And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below,  blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
²⁰the sun shall be turned to darkness  and the moon to blood,   before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.
²¹And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

19) Acts 2:1  When the day of Pentecost arrived, THEY were all together in one place.

20) Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

⁵Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.

21) Acts 2:33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the HOLY SPIRIT, he has poured out this that YOU yourselves are seeing and hearing.   ’

22) Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of YOU in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of YOUR sins, and YOU will receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT.

ACTS 2:37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the PROMISE IS FOR YOU AND FOR YOUR CHILDREN AND FOR ALL WHO ARE FAR OFF, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

V38-39 who receives the promise of the Holy Spirit!!??

23) Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders,

**Who is Peter Addressing?

24) Acts 7:51 “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the HOLY SPIRIT. As your fathers did, so do you.

**Who always resists the HOLY SPIRIT? Who was Steven speaking to?

25) Acts 9:31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the HOLY SPIRIT, it multiplied.

Then the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} had rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria and were edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and with the comfort of the Holy Spirit they were multiplied.

26) Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY SPIRIT and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.   

27) Acts 10:44  While Peter was still saying these things, the HOLY SPIRIT fell on all who heard the word. 45And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT was poured out even on the Gentiles.

**If THE HOLY SPIRIT was promised to ONLY ISRAEL according to The Bible, then who were the gentiles in this context?

The Lost Sheep of The House of Israel. Israel was divided into 2 kingdoms, North and South or Israel and Judah. The North was Israel with 10 Tribes and Judah in the South with 2 tribes Israel in The North was the younger brother in the parable of the prodigal son. Israel was cut off from YHWH and lived like the pagan nations. He was called a gentile, Greek, uncircumcised, dog by his brother in the South.

28) Acts 10:47 “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the HOLY SPIRIT just as we have?”

29) Acts 11:15 As I began to speak, the HOLY SPIRIT fell on them just as on us at the beginning.  

30) Acts 11:16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but YOU will be baptized with the HOLY SPIRIT.’

31)  Acts 16:6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the HOLY SPIRIT to speak the word in Asia.

**Interesting how THE HOLY SPIRIT does NOT want the disciples to speak THE WORD/ THE GOSPEL in Asia. So much for wanting none to perish or for wanting to evangelize the whole world!!??? LOL

32) Acts 28:25 And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: “The HOLY SPIRIT was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet: ²⁶“‘Go to this people, and say,
“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
²⁷For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’

²⁸Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.”

³⁰He lived there two whole years at his own expense, and welcomed all who came to him, ³¹proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.

Romans 5:5

and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into OUR hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to US.

33) Ephesians 1:13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised HOLY SPIRIT,

***Who was salvation for? Those who were under YHWH’s Law, broke and transgressed it, were dead in their trespasses as sin, needed to be brought back to life… Sounds like Israel.

34) Ephesians 3:1-5 For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of YOU Gentiles— ²assuming that YOU have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for YOU,³how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. ⁴When YOU Read this, YOU can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, ⁵which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has NOW been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. ⁶This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

***When was the “NOW” in this passage? 1st century 50-60 AD that gentiles aka scattered cut off Israelites were fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise.

35) Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the HOLY SPIRIT of God, by whom you were SEALED FOR THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.

36) **When did the day of Redemption arrive?

70AD

37) 1 Thessalonians 4:8 Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his HOLY SPIRIT to YOU.

***Who is the “YOU” that Paul is writing to, that God gives His Holy Spirit to? Is it “you” who is reading the epistle in the 21st century or the Thessalonians ekklesia in the 1st century to whom the letter is addressed!?

38) 2 Timothy 1:14 By the HOLY SPIRIT who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.   

39) Titus 3:5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the HOLY SPIRIT,

Hebrews 9:8 By this the HOLY SPIRIT indicates that the way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still ⁹(which is symbolic for the present age). According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper, ¹⁰but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed UNTIL THE TIME OF REFORMATION.

**What was the first section?

The Temple

Hebrews was written in the 60s before the fall of the Jerusalem Temple in 70AD. When that happened, Redemption came, Consolation of Israel, Time of Reformation…

40) H ebrews 10:15-17 And the HOLY SPIRIT also bears witness TO US; for after saying, ¹⁶“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”¹⁷then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

¹⁸Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

¹⁹Therefore, brothers, since WE have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰by the new and living way that he opened for US through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, ²¹and since WE have a great priest over the house of God, ²²let US draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with OURhearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and OUR bodies washed with pure water. ²³Let US hold fast the confession of OUR HOPE without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. ²⁴And let US consider how to stir up ONE ANOTHER to love and good works, ²⁵not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging ONE ANOTHER, and all the more AS YOU SEE THE DAY DRAWING NEAR.

**”TO US” are the Hebrews to whom the book of Hebrews was written. The Hebrews knew The Holy Spirit was given TO THEM as a seal. They anticipated the FULFILLMENT OF THE PROMISE that they could SEE THE DAY DRAWING NEAR and came in 70AD at the destruction of Jerusalem’s temple.

ROMANS 13:¹¹Besides this YOU know THE TIME, that THE HOUR HAS COME for YOU to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to US now than when we first believed. ¹²The night is far gone; THE DAY IS AT HAND. So then let US cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. ¹³Let US walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. ¹⁴But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Paul states the ekklesia in Rome knew THE TIME, THE HOUR had come, salvation was NEARER to THEM NOW, 1^st century, than when they first believed; and THE DAY IS AT HAND!

What DAY WAS AT HAND?

THE DAY OF THE LORD TO JUDGE ISRAEL, REDEEM, RESTORE, REFORM ISRAEL,

THE HOLY SPIRIT FULFILLED HIS MISSION OF BEING POURED OUT UPON THE ELECT REMNANT OF ISRAEL that were scattered and brought back by The Gospel that was ONLY for ISRAEL.

Those today in 2022, who believe they have the Holy Spirit probably need to the study a bit harder because they are in error or just deluded by a learned behavior that we picked up from the traditions of men. The promise of THE HOLY SPIRIT as Scripture teaches was for ISRAEL ONLY!

The Bible was Covenant Israel’s story and it came to completion in 70AD. Btw The Old & New Covenants are made with Israel & Judah.

The Bible is NOT about Samoans, Filipinos, Mexicans, Irish, Chinese…. It was about Covenant Israel. In fact, at the end of the Bible, in the book in Revelation, only 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel are redeemed aka saved. No Samoans, Filipinos, Mexicans… just Israelites Romans 11 says that when the FULLNESS OF GENTILES (scattered cut off Israelites) comes in ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED!

1 The indwelling of The Holy Spirit is NECESSARY to be a Christian & for the Church (Ekklesia) to exist.

2 The Holy Spirit was promised to a specific group of people (Israel) in her last days (30-70AD) which came and went.

3 Therefore, there are no more Christians and no more Church, just people who think they are a Christian and part of The Church that fulfilled its purpose already.

Churches today are just corporation using the name of Christ to jack money from peeps, while pastors are involved in screwing around with secretaries, congregation..., why there is NO POWER in churches to heal BILLIONS in the name of Christ, feed BILLIONS in the name of Christ, convert BILLIONS to Christ... because there is NO Holy Spirit!!!!

The logic of our Pentecostal Charismatic Tongue speaking miracle working friends is CORRECT, IF….

We see millions of Christians performing insane numbers of miracles in the billions from emptying ever hospital on earth for God’s glory alone, feeding every starving person to health, restoring loss limbs, millions of cheaters liars adulterers crooks dropping dead put to death by the Holy Spirit for bringing evil into God’s house,

IF THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS STILL PRESENT AND AT WORK IN HIS CHURCH!!!

His work was FINISHED in 70AD.

We don’t see real tongues (just people yaba daba doing), healings, miracles, so The Holy Spirit is NO LONGER present!

John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME WILL DO THE WORKS I HAVE BEEN DOING, AND THEY WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE, because I am going to the Father.

Are there not many people today who believe in Christ? over 1,000,000,000.

Are these believers in the BILLIONS doing the work of Christ today and GREATER, like raising the dead, miraculously feedings and curing hundreds/ thousands times a billion??? CRICKETS. nope!

Therefore, there is NO Holy Spirit!!

Do you see that the “you” in John 14 is the apostles and disciples that Christ was speaking to 2000 years ago and not you in 2022 reading the verse!? Lol

Hello! There’s a book called The Acts of The Apostles or Acts and the New Testament where the apostles and disciples, indeed, did the miraculous works of Christ and greater deeds, too!

The Holy Spirit was limited up until the Day of THE LORD, Day of Redemption, when His engagement ring-seal was complete because in 70AD, Christ married His Bride.

And they lived happily ever after…

Hell yah!!! This is helluva of SHOCKER to figure out that we have been deceived, lied to, led astray or just got the Bible story wrong! People today 2022 who call themselves Christians are not biblical Christians and do not have The Holy Spirit! Again The Holy Spirit was promised to only Israel.

People who call themselves “Christians” today do not realize that the Bible is not their story but Israel’s. They have essentially hijacked Israel’s fulfilled story and made it their own by making their story continue into the future.

These Wannabe Christians today have made a BIG ASSUMPTION! They have ASSUMED the Bible is written TO them and FOR them! Check for yourself! It’s written to the ekklesia in Rome, Galatia, Corinth; Revelation is written to the 7 ekklesia in Asia; then there’s Timothy, Titus, Philemon….

Both old and new covenants are made only with Israel and Judah!

So then does this mean my powerful conversion story wasn’t THE HOLY SPIRIT!???

Since The Holy Spirit, Bible, salvation was only for Israel, then what about us!!!???

1. You can’t be a Christian unless you have The Holy Spirit.

2. The Holy Spirit was promised only to Israel in her last days 30-70AD.

3. Therefore, you are not a Christian because you do not have The Holy Spirit who was promised only to Israel in her last days.

1. “The church” is made up of Christians.

2. Christians are the Bride of Christ that YESHUA returned for in 70AD and took to be with Him in His Father’s mansion!

3. Therefore, there is no “church” or Christians on earth since 70AD.

THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS FOR ISRAEL ONLY By Tuese Ahkiong

Christ is speaking to His Israelite Disciples and Apostles about the promises of The Holy Spirit.

Btw, when you see the word “you” in some of these Bible verses, it’s NOT YOU reading the verse! LOL. Find out who the antecedent of “you” is and it’s majority of the time the disciples/ apostles who Christ spoke His words to!

Other times the “you” can be who it’s written to like the church in Rome, Galatia, Corinth… or Timothy, Titus, Philemon…

12) JOHN 7:39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
