MEDIUMS - an individual who acts as an intermediary with the spirit world, specifically claiming to consult the dead or "familiar spirits" (Hebrew: 'owb) to gain hidden knowledge or guidance. Scripture strictly forbids this practice, calling it an "abomination" that defiles the user, as it constitutes idolatry and reliance on forbidden spiritual forces rather than God.
