Who was the Bible WRITTEN TO, FOR and ABOUT?
How do you know that the Bible was WRITTEN TO you, FOR you and ABOUT you? Does it say so? Is it true?
Such beautiful basic fundamental questions that destroys THE MATRIX of LIES!!!!
Most people today 2025 who call themselves “Christians” believe the Bible is their story written to them, for them and about them, but is this true?
THE BIGGEST ASSUMPTION people who think that they are “Christians” make about scripture is that the Bible is their story written to them, for them and about them in whatever century they live. How do they know? What does the Bible say? Who does the Bible say it’s written to, for and about?
Who are the main characters in Scripture?
GOD, Israel and satan?
The Old Testament is mainly about Israel’s history and covenant relationship with YHWH in being His Covenant People. Israel broke covenant by sin in transgressing God’s law. The Kingdom got divided (10 tribes-house of Israel/ 2 tribes-house of Judah) and the house of Israel (northern kingdom) were scattered into the nations, divorced, cut off from covenant by & from YHWH for committing spiritual adultery in worshipping pagan gods & idols, & called, “NOT MY PEOPLE!” by YHWH. If one is NOT YHWH’s PEOPLE then one is non-People of God, non-Israelite in name or just a nation, people, gentile. God promised to regather them in the latter days (30-70AD) and seek for his lost sheep.
Most people who think they are “Christians” today 2025 don’t have a strong understanding of the OT backstory which brings greater clarity and understanding to the NT. There are many promises and prophecies made in the OT to Israel and fulfilled in NT to Israel.
The New Testament is written to Christians (Israelites) and churches (ekklesia) in the 1st century like Timothy, Titus, Philemon; and the church in Rome, Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus… concerning The Gospel and Christ’s near return in the 1st century generation since they were in the last days (30-70AD). The NT opens with an Israeli couple having a pre-marriage pregnancy on their plate. The baby’s Israeli genealogy is in a couple of chapters. The baby becomes a man and goes into the ministry and gathers 12 Apostles of Israeli descent. He tells his disciples that he came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel (the ones scattered in the OT), but most people who think they are “Christians” reading this believe Yeshua lied or was wrong because they are Filipino, Mexican or Irish and “Christian.” Lol. Christ gives his Apostles The “Great Commission” and empowers them (and not you reading this) with The Holy Spirit to seek the lost sheep of the house of Israel and they did! At the end of the Bible, only those from the 12 tribes of Israel are redeemed aka saved.
It's always good to identify the genre of literature (historic, poetry, wisdom teaching, prophetic…) that one is reading along with the 5 W's of the text: WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, HOW? This gives greater historic context as to the purpose of the literature and brings more clarity to its meaning in the over arching bible theme, trajectory, story.
Let's take a look at who the books of the New Testament were written TO:
1. MATTHEW 1:1 This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham:
The Gospel of Matthew was written to, for and about an Israeli audience in the first century and much of the Old Testament is referenced and quoted assuming the audience has the background context of the OT.
2. MARK 1: 1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God,
The Gospel of Mark was written to, for and about scattered Israel/ gentiles.
3. LUKE 1:1 Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3 With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly ACCOUNT FOR YOU, MOST EXCELLENT THEOPHILUS, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
Luke was written FOR THEOPHILUS.
4. JOHN 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Gospel of John is written to both Jews and scattered Israel/ gentiles.
5. ACTS 1:1 In my former book, THEOPHILUS, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen
Acts was written FOR THEOPHILUS.
6. ROMANS 1:7 TO ALL IN ROME WHO ARE LOVED BY GOD AND CALLED TO BE HIS HOLY PEOPLE: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews was written TO Hebrews (Israelites/ Jews) in the 1st century and NOT TO YOU Filipinos, Samoans, Chinese and Mexicans reading this in the 21st century!!! LOL Notice how the author states to his audience that they are living “IN THESE LAST DAYS….” when Christ was speaking TO them!??
20. JAMES 1: 1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, TO THE TWELVE TRIBES SCATTERED AMONG THE NATIONS: Greetings.
James (half brother of Yeshua) was written TO The 12 Tribes scattered among the nations in the 1st century and NOT TO YOU reading this in the 21st century!!! LOL. Do you know the backstory of how Israel got scattered and became GENTILES because you would then understand who James is addressing.

1 JOHN was written to believers in the 1st century who were facing false teachers, heresy, antichrists… Yes, the antichrists (plural) were present in the last days 30-70AD on the ground when John wrote. And this wasn’t written to you reading this in the 21st century!
26. 2 JOHN 1: 1 The elder, TO THE LADY CHOSEN BY GOD AND TO HER CHILDREN, WHOM I LOVE IN THE TRUTH—and not I only, but also all who know the truth—2 because of the truth, which lives IN US and will be WITH US forever: 3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be WITH US in truth and love.
2 JOHN was written to the lady which could be an actual lady or metaphor for the church in the 1st century. Again the church was facing false teachers, heresy, antichrists…
27. 3 JOHN 1: 1 The elder, TO MY DEAR FRIEND GAIUS, whom I love in the truth.
3 JOHN was written to Gaius in the 1st century. Gaius was from Derbe which is in Asia Minor or today’s Turkey. So, it's possible that John was writing to believers in this area.
28. JUDE 1: 1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:
Jude (half brother of Yeshua) was written to a Christian audience in the 1st century to earnestly contend for the faith.
29. REVELATION 1: 1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants WHAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE. When and where in scripture does Israel’s story become every other country, nation, person’s story? Prove how the Bible is your story written to you, for you and about you? It’s pretty retarded to pick up an ancient book thousands of years old and think it’s written to, for and about you in 2025 without confirming where in the text that your name is written? We have been operating on traditions and assumptions without confirming with the text of Scripture! I know it's scary! But we want THE TRUTH, right!???

The Bible was written “to” the people of ancient Israel and the early Christian communities (Israelites) in the New Testament. People who think that they are “Christians” today believe it was written "for" everyone, meaning its message is intended to be understood and applied by people of all times and cultures, not just the original audience it was written “to.” LOL. This is the looney tune world that we are in as to how people interpret an ancient book and magically make it about them 2000 years later or in whatever century they lived! Smh!
Only those under the law or under the first covenant could transgress/ break the law.

The main reason this SHOCKS people is bc they don’t study the entire Bible over n over to see this in Scripture!
