1. Who did God make the Old and New Covenants with? 

A: The House of Judah & House of Israel (Heb 8:8) 

Heb 8:8 But God found fault with the people and said:  “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

2. Who did God give the Promise to? 

A: Abraham & his descendants (Gen 17:7) 

Gen 17:7 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

3. Who was under the Law? 

A: Israel (Rom 9:4) 

Rom 9:4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.

4. Who did Jesus come to redeem? 

A: Israel (Luke 1:68) 

Luke 1:68 “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them.

5. Who did God choose to give His laws to? 

A: Israel (Deut 4:44) 

Deut 4:44 This is the law Moses set before the Israelites.

6. Who's descendants could be heirs of the Promise? 

A: Abraham's descendants, near and even those far off (Acts 2:39) 

Acts 2:39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

7. Who were those proven to be IF they had the Faith? 

A: Abraham's seed (Rom 4:13) (Gal 3:7) 

Rom 4:13  It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.  

Gal 3:7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.

8. Who "only" has God known or given His laws to? 

A: Israel (Amos 3:2) 

Amos 3:2 “You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

9. Whose names are written on the 12 gates of New Jerusalem? 

A: The 12 tribes of ....Israel (Rev 21:12) 

Rev 21:12  It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.

10. Who can learn the redemption song? (hint: read #11) 

A: The 144,000 of the tribes of Israel (Rev 14:3) 

Rev 14:3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

11. Who are the 144,000 composed of? 

A: The saved Remnant of the tribes of Israel (Rev 7:4)

Rev 7:4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

12. Who are the saved Remnant made of? 

A: Israel (Rom 11:26) 

Rom 11:26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

13. Who was the letter of James addressed to? 

A: The 12 tribes of Israel who are dispersed (James 1:1) 

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.

14. Who was the letter of 1 Peter addressed to? 

A: elect exiles of the Dispersion (1Peter 1:1)

15. Who would Jesus and the disciples judge? 

A: The 12 tribes of Israel (Luke 22:30 Mt 19:28)

Luke 22:30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Mt 19:28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

16. Who was someone if they belonged to Christ? 

A: Abraham's seed.....according to the promise (Gal 3:29)

Gal 3:29.  If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
