Quick thoughts on THE MILLENNIUM by Tuese Ahkiong

I'm also known as ApoloJEDI and FlatEarthJEDI, and since this is my paper, I want to stick a picture of The Millennium Falcon on it bc I'm a Star Wars fan of the original Trilogy episodes 4-6 and none of that WOKE Star Wars cancer. Lol

The millennium was between 30-70AD. Revelation is a highly symbolic book and it is NOT talking about a literal 1000 years but a completeness/ fullness.

Like God owns the cattle on a 1000 hills (Ps 50:10) but the 1001st belongs to satan. No, it means God completely owns every sheep, hill, everything...

I will curse those who hate me to the 3rd and 4th generation, but to those who love me I will bless to a thousand generation (Exodus 20:5-6).

Simply those who love God are completely blessed.
Better is one day in your house than a 1000 elsewhere (Ps 84:10). It's saying 1 day in God's house is far better than the completeness/fullness of being anywhere else outside of God's presence.

Rev20:1-10 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain.2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the THOUSAND years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a THOUSAND years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the THOUSAND years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and THEY WILL REIGN WITH HIM FOR A THOUSAND YEARS.
7 And when the THOUSAND YEARS ARE ENDED, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, BUT FIRE CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND CONSUMED THEM, 10 AND THE DEVIL WHO HAD DECEIVED THEM WAS THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND SULFUR WHERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET WERE, AND THEY WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER.

Ephesians 2:6

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

** The “us” in this passage are Paul and church in Ephesus around 55 AD.

Colossians 3:1

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God

2 Timothy 2:12
if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;

Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luke 22:30
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Revelation 14:14
I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

Revelation 20:4

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

At the end of the thousands years, the complete transition out of the Old Covenant into the New Covenant, judgment falls on the devil and his minions, the apostate jews. See below to when this occurs. At the end of the age.

Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

**Paul wrote Romans around 58 A.D. and said Satan would be soon crushed under their feet.

Revelation 20:7-10 teaches that the devil would be thrown into the lake of fire at the end of the millennium.

**Notice that the resurrection takes place at the end of the millennium in Rev 20:5-6

MATT 13:24-30, 36-43 24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST, AND AT HARVEST TIME I WILL TELL THE REAPERS, GATHER THE WEEDS FIRST AND BIND THEM IN BUNDLES TO BE BURNED, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

36 Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. THE HARVEST IS THE END OF THE AGE, AND THE REAPERS ARE ANGELS. 40 JUST AS THE WEEDS ARE GATHERED AND BURNED WITH FIRE, SO WILL IT BE AT THE END OF THE AGE. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 AND THROW THEM INTO THE FIERY FURNACE. IN THAT PLACE THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

*Notice how at the end of the age, the end of the old covenant age, this fiery judgment described in apocalyptic language parallels the judgment in Revelation regarding the end of the millennium. Thus, the timing of the millennium takes place between Christ's ascension and Parousia (coming, return presence in 70AD).

From the First to the Last Chapter of The book of Revelation, one will see that it is loaded with imminent time statements TO the 1^st Century 7 churches of Asia. The events within The Book of Revelation are said to must soon take place, the time is near, coming quickly, coming soon, at hand? The events within the book of Revelation are: the MILLENNIUM, return of Christ (Parousia), Satan thrown into the lake of fire, judgment upon unbelieving Israel, resurrection, new heaven and new earth.

Rev. 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants THE THINGS THAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

HOW LONG IS SOON?

Rev. 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, FOR THE TIME IS NEAR.

*THE TIME IS NEAR FOR WHAT? WHO?

Rev.1.4 John, To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits[a] before his throne,

WAS THE BOOK OF REVELATION WRITTEN TO 21ST CENTURY CHRISTIANS? NO.

It was written to the seven churches in the province of Asia!

Rev. 1.7 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even THOSE WHO PIERCED HIM and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

*ARE THOSE WHO PIERCED JESUS STILL ALIVE? DOES THIS TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE TIMING OF JESUS COMING IN THE CLOUDS?

Rev 1:9-11 I, John, your brother and partner IN THE TRIBULATION and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, 11 saying, “Write in a book what you see, and SEND IT TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

*DID YOU EVER NOTICE THAT JOHN SAID HE WAS IN THE TRIBULATION? DID YOU EVER NOTICE THAT THE BOOK OF REVELATION WAS WRITTEN TO THE 7 CHURCHES IN ASIA AND NOT TO YOU (IN THE 21ST CENTURY)?

Rev. 22:6 And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants WHAT MUST SOON TAKE PLACE."

Rev. 22:7 "And behold, I AM COMING SOON. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

Rev. 22:10 And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, FOR THE TIME IS NEAR.

Dan 8:26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but SEAL UP THE VISION, FOR IT CONCERNS THE DISTANT FUTURE.”

Rev. 22:12 “Behold, I AM COMING QUICKLY.”

Rev. 22:20 “Yes, I AM COMING QUICKLY.”

*IS SOON AND NEAR LONGER THAN 2000 YEARS? DOES I AM COMING QUICKLY MEAN HE’LL BE DELAYED FOR 2000 PLUS YEARS?

THE JUDGMENT was in 70 A.D.

Some good questions to ask about THE JUDGMENT are:

Who? To whom did the Judgment fall?

What was the Judgment? Define it?

Where was the Judgment?

When was the Judgment?

Why did the Judgment take place?

How did the Judgment happen?

These verses should answer these questions.

Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I AM COMING SOON, BRINGING MY RECOMPENSE WITH ME, TO REPAY EACH ONE FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE.

**Christ states in Revelation written around 66 A.D., that He is coming soon bringing His recompense/ judgment. In 70 A.D., Christ came in the glory of The Father and brought judgment upon Apostate Israel.

Matthew 16:27-28 (ESV)
27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. 28 TRULY, I SAY TO YOU, THERE ARE SOME STANDING HERE WHO WILL NOT TASTE DEATH UNTIL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM.”

**Christ tells His disciples that SOME of THEM would not taste death until they see The Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. This meant that MOST of them would be dead before His return and only SOME would be still alive to see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. This places the return of Christ in the 1st century "this generation" that Yeshua said He would return to before they go through all the cities of Israel. At His return in The Glory of His Father and then REPAY (judgment) each person according to what he has done.

Matthew 19:28

28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.

*Judge who?

Luke 22:28-30

²⁸“You are those who have stayed with me in my trials, ²⁹and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom, ³⁰that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.

*Judge who?

Matthew 23:34-36 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, 35 SO THAT ON YOU MAY COME ALL THE RIGHTEOUS BLOOD SHED ON EARTH, FROM THE BLOOD OF RIGHTEOUS ABEL TO THE BLOOD OF ZECHARIAH THE SON OF BARACHIAH, WHOM YOU MURDERED BETWEEN THE SANCTUARY AND THE ALTAR. 36 TRULY, I say to you, ALL THESE THINGS WILL COME UPON THIS GENERATION.

**Christ is stating to Pharisees and leaders of Israel that ON THEM will come all the responsibility for the murders of ALL the righteous blood spilt from Abel to Zechariah on that generation.

Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

**Christ states that His generation will experience all these things from vs4-33.

Matthew 25:31-33 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

**Christ states He will come in glory like in Matt 16 & 24 to judge. The nations here are limited to Israel. The Old Covenant is what was in its last days and being harvested.

James 5:7-9 Be patient, therefore, brothers, UNTIL THE COMING OF THE LORD. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. 8 You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD IS AT HAND. 9 Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, THE JUDGE IS STANDING AT THE DOOR.

**Why would James tell his readers to be patient until the coming of The Lord if The Lord isn’t coming in their life time? James tells the 1st century recipients of his letter that the coming of the Lord is at hand. James then states that the judge, Christ is standing at the door ready to enter and begin judgment.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, WILL APPEAR A SECOND TIME, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Hebrews 10:37 For,“YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND THE COMING ONE WILL COME AND WILL NOT DELAY;

***Notice that these Hebrew passages are in context of Christ’s return, which was in a little while without delay to the first century saints.

1 Peter 4:5 but they will give account to HIM WHO IS READY TO JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD.

1 Peter 4:17 FOR IT IS TIME FOR JUDGMENT TO BEGIN AT THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

**Notice how from 1 Peter that Christ, The Judge is READY to judge.

Acts 17:30-31(YLT) the times, indeed, therefore, of the ignorance God having overlooked, doth NOW command all men everywhere to reform, 31 because He did set a day in which HE IS ABOUT TO JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, by a man whom He did ordain, having given assurance to all, having raised him out of the dead.'

**Luke states that NOW (1ST century around 59 A.D.) God commands “all people” everywhere to repent because He is ABOUT TO judge the world….

Romans 14:10-12 (ESV)
10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? FOR WE WILL ALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF GOD; 11 for it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

***Who is the “we” that Paul is speaking about?

2 Corinthians 5:6- 10 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, ⁷for we walk by faith, not by sight. ⁸Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. ⁹So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. ¹⁰FOR WE MUST ALL APPEAR BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST, SO THAT EACH ONE MAY RECEIVE WHAT IS DUE FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE IN THE BODY, WHETHER GOOD OR EVIL.

Rev. 3:10“I also WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TESTING WHICH IS ABOUT TO COME UPON THE WHOLE WORLD.”

*DID JESUS KEEP THIS CHURCH FROM THE HOUR OF TESTING?

Rev. 3:11 I AM COMING SOON. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

*HOW LONG IS SOON?

Revelation 20:11-15 (ESV)
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were JUDGED by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were JUDGED, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

***The events in the book of Revelation are said to be near, at hand, soon, (1:1,3;22:6,10, 12).

Verses on THE JUDGMENT

Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh will rise up at THE JUDGMENT with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

Matthew 12:42 The queen of the South will rise up at THE JUDGMENT with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

Luke 10:14 But it will be more bearable in THE JUDGMENT for Tyre and Sidon than for you.

Luke 11:31 The queen of the South will rise up at THE JUDGMENT with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

Luke 11:32 The men of Nineveh will rise up at THE JUDGMENT with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

John 3:19 And this is THE JUDGMENT: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

John 12:31 Now is THE JUDGMENT of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.

Romans 2:2 We know that THE JUDGMENT of God rightly falls on those who practice such things.

Romans 2:3 Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape THE JUDGMENT of God?

Romans 5:16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For THE JUDGMENT following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.

Romans 14:10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before THE JUDGMENT seat of God;

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before THE JUDGMENT seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until THE JUDGMENT;

Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until THE JUDGMENT of the great day—

Revelation 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you THE JUDGMENT of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters,

Who? To whom will the judgment fall?

A: Old Covenant Israel, the only nation in covenant with God.

What was the Judgment? Define it?

A: Covenantal judgment for breaking covenant. Lev. 26, Deut 28 Being cut off from the presence of God.

Where was the Judgment?
A: Jerusalem, The Temple’s destruction. Matt 24:1-34 The Old Covenant World

When was the Judgment?

A: Christ said within that first century generation. The 9^th of Av 70 A.D., the same day the first temple was destroyed in 586 B.C.

Why did the Judgment take place?

A: Because Israel broke Covenant in killing the prophets, scribes, disciples and ultimately Yeshua.

How did the Judgment happen?

A: Judgment came through God’s servants, The Roman Army.

Christ said that the Jews/Israel would be JUDGED in his generation for shedding all the righteous blood of the saints. Israel was the Harlot! THIS IS THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT that peeps talk about. Yep, it happened already!
