Luke 1:32-33
32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him THE THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID, 33 AND HE WILL REIGN OVER THE HOUSE OF JACOB FOREVER, AND OF HIS KINGDOM THERE WILL BE NO END.”
**Reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) and not the USA, Mexico, Samoa, Korea…
But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘WE DO NOT WANT THIS MAN TO REIGN OVER US.’
**Christ gave a parable of servants not wanting to be reigned over by their King. He was speaking of unfaithful Israel.
But As For These Enemies Of Mine, Who Did Not Want Me To Reign Over Them, Bring Them Here And Slaughter Them Before Me.’”
**Christ gives a parable of enemies refusing the reign of the King and they get the justice they rightfully deserved for their treason! He was speaking of unfaithful Israel.
DANIEL 7:13-14
13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me WAS ONE LIKE A SON OF MAN, COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN. HE APPROACHED THE ANCIENT OF DAYS AND WAS LED INTO HIS PRESENCE. 14 HE WAS GIVEN AUTHORITY, GLORY AND SOVEREIGN POWER; ALL NATIONS AND PEOPLES OF EVERY LANGUAGE WORSHIPED HIM. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
**THE SON OF MAN approaches THE ANCIENT OF DAYS where He was given authority, glory, Sovereign Power and Worship.
He was NOT approaching people on earth.
“Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM.”
**Some of Christ's Apostles would still be alive to see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM. This equated to the destruction of the Jerusalem, which meant Christ was on His Throne in Heaven commanding the destruction of Jerusalem! Nobody can touch God's Temple and City unless God gives the order. God gave the order when the first temple came down in
Daniel 1
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure house of his god.
“THEN WILL APPEAR THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn WHEN THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN, WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY.
**The sign that the Son of Man was in Heaven, was JERUSALEM DESTROYED! This passage echoes Daniel 7:13. Christ is on THE THRONE FULFILLING HIS WORDS THAT THE SON OF MAN WOULD BE EXECUTING JUDGMENT ON UNFAITHFUL UNBELIEVING ISRAEL BY SENDING HIS SERVANTS, THE ROMAN ARMIES TO EXECUTE ADULTEROUS ISRAEL BY DESTROYING THE JERUSALEM. THIS JUDGMENT IS LIKE NUMEROUS OTHER JUDGMENTS OF GOD COMING OF THE CLOUDS TO A NATION TO DESTROY IT!!!
1 Corinthians 15:20-28
But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. 24 TO GOD THE FATHER AFTER DESTROYING EVERY RULE AND EVERY AUTHORITY AND POWER. 25 FOR HE MUST REIGN UNTIL HE HAS PUT ALL HIS ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.
**Christ destroys all enemies: rule, authority, power with Death last. The old covenant was also known as the ministry of death along with its rule, authority and power over God’s People Israel that made them all the walking dead!
**Paul states Christ destroyed Death, past-tense. Was he talking about physical death? Of course, not! People were still physically dying in Paul's time. In 2COR3:7 Paul calls the old covenant law the ministry that brought DEATH.
2 Corinthians 3:6-8
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Now if THE MINISTRY THAT BROUGHT DEATH, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that THE ISRAELITES could NOT look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
**THE LAW brought DEATH ONLY to ISRAEL who were the only ones under the covenant mosaic law of death.
2 Timothy 2:11-13
The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him;
12 IF WE ENDURE, WE WILL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM;
if we deny him, he also will deny us;
13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—
for he cannot deny himself.
**Believers (30-70AD) reigned with Christ in exercising rule, authority, power in proclaiming The Gospel on the LAND.

Revelation 5:10
AND YOU HAVE MADE THEM A KINGDOM AND PRIESTS TO OUR GOD, AND THEY SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.”
**Believers (30-70AD) reigned with Christ as ministers exercising rule, authority, power in proclaiming The Gospel on the earth aka LAND.
Revelation 11:15-19
15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “THE KINGDOM OF THE WORLD HAS BECOME THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD AND OF HIS CHRIST, AND HE SHALL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER.” 16 AND THE TWENTY-FOUR ELDERS WHO SIT ON THEIR THRONES BEFORE GOD FELL ON THEIR FACES AND WORSHIPED GOD, 17 SAYING,
“WE GIVE THANKS TO YOU, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO IS AND WHO WAS,
FOR YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR GREAT POWER AND BEGUN TO REIGN.
18 The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for REWARDING YOUR SERVANTS, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.”
19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
**Christ begun reigning through His Believers in exercising rule, authority, power in proclaiming The Gospel.
Revelation 19:6 The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “HALLELUJAH! FOR THE LORD OUR GOD THE ALMIGHTY REIGNS.
**The reign of Christ was in effect when John penned this around 65AD!
Revelation 20:4
Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. THEY CAME TO LIFE AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST FOR A THOUSAND YEARS.
**The Apostles were given authority to judge the 12 Tribes of Israel. The thousand years was the completion of the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel between 30-70AD.
Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, AND THEY WILL REIGN WITH HIM FOR A THOUSAND YEARS.
Revelation 22:5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, AND THEY WILL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER.
**The Gospel went out to Israel in the last days 30-70AD which was also the 1000 years (the millennium) symbolic for completion of the good news Great Commission of saving the elect remnant, lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.
Luke 22:30
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, JUDGING THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL.
**The renewal of all things was the restoring Israel into a new covenant from out of the covenant of death. The Apostles were GOD’s servants laying out the gospel law and judgment upon Israel in the last days.
Acts 1:6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to RESTORE THE KINGDOM TO ISRAEL?”
**God’s Kingdom to Israel was in the process of being restored by The Gospel. Acts 1 is pre-Pentecost. Christ tells His Apostles that they will receive power by the Holy Spirit to witness the Gospel to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. The Apostles were like Holy Spirit empowered special force commandos to get the gospel out to the lost sheep of Israel to fulfill The Great Commission” and they did!
DANIEL 7

He approached THE ANCIENT OF DAYS and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
**THE SON OF MAN, coming on the clouds of heaven is approaching THE ANCIENT OF DAYS.
MATTHEW 24
30 “Then will appear THE SIGN of the SON OF MAN in HEAVEN. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
**Christ tells the high priest that he would see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven. Only God comes on the clouds of heaven. Christ was basically saying that He is God. This is why the high priest and Sanhedrin wanted to kill him for blasphemy. They would SEE (or understand, comprehend, perceive) that The Son of Man was seated at the right hand of Power and Coming on the clouds of heaven in the DESTRUCTION of Jerusalem.
Rev. 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen.
The high priest seeing this, sticks Christ's return in the 1st century "this generation (30-70AD)."
