It’s all about TIMING and BASIC GRAMMAR!!!

Does Paul teach that all Christian virgins should NOT get married?  NO.

Paul is addressing a specific audience, 1st century Christians.   The Bible was NOT written TO YOU, FOR YOU or ABOUT YOU in the 21st century.  Learn grammar.  Corinthians was written TO the ekklesia in Corinth. See, it even has their name on it.   Audience Relevance of this passage tells us that because of the present distress: persecution from apostate Jews, Paul advises virgins not to marry because of the troubles in their life time, The Great Tribulation on the horizon.

1 Cor. 7.25-31

Now about virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. 26Because of THE PRESENT DISTRESS, I think that it is good for YOU to remain as YOU are. 27Are YOU married? Do not seek a divorce. Are YOU unmarried? Do not look for a wife. 28But if YOU do marry, YOU have not sinned and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry WILL FACE MANY TROUBLES IN THIS LIFE, and I want to spare YOU this. 29What I mean, brothers, is that THE TIME IS SHORT. From NOW ON those who have wives should live as if they had none 30those who mourn, as if they did not those who are happy, as if they were not those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep 31those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. FOR THIS WORLD IN ITS PRESENT FORM IS PASSING AWAY.

***Remember, the pronoun, "YOU" in this passage are the Corinthian Ekklesia and not you retards in the 21st century who do not know your grammar!  LOL

*IS NOT THE PRESENT DISTRESS THE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS BY THE APOSTATE JEWS IN THE 1ST CENTURY?  YES.   

1 Corinthians 4:11-12  To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;

**Did not Christ prophesy persecution by the Jews upon the saints in that 1st century "this generation" (30-70AD) and tell the unbelieving Jewish leaders that they're going HELL!?   Yes.

Matthew 23:33-35  You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell? ³⁴ Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, ³⁵ so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.

THE TIME IS SHORT FOR WHAT?  

Did not Christ promise His Parousia within that “this generation?” and say several times TO the 1st century 7 seven churches in Asia that He was coming soon?  Yes.

WHAT WORLD IS PASSING AWAY?  Within context what world or age was coming to an end?  Was it not the Old Covenant World/Age???  Yes.
