Happily Never After?

Forever in search we be

of that happily ever after

That place abounding 

In love, joy, peace and laughter

That spot we find the treasure

And pleasure 

of our soul

Where we know 

We will not be in want

But getting stupid fricken drunk in love

Not only in sexy romantic amor 

But where all our needs and desires 

want 
no more

Just being completely content 

and satisfied 

Cup running over

Heart occupied 

With La la land

Feeling like a sweet MJ high 

Getting heaven sent

Floating in the sky 

Groovin' on some kind of psychedelic euphoric bliss

Where the most incredible kiss 

Has landed

On your wish. 

But how many of us ever leave this life

Having tasted that joy

Of the fairytale poison?

Not this boy!

Have you found your happiness

Or just feeling happy-less?

They sure suck 

when your bubble pops
and your body drops 

and does a plop
On the ground, 

falling face down
and you know 

you've been clowned.
It's great to have friends
Who are where you have not been
Who have tasted the sin
Who give u stuff to write about
Lessons to learn and not doubt
To not follow in his or her trails 

and routes.

Less u be like their sorry soul
And give them writing material.

A SUNSET

Somewhere beyond that ocean blue,
As you watch the entrance
of a colorful twilight,
You witness the sun
softly embracing the sea,
Kissing her goodnight.
You’re reminded that
Far away
The gal whose lips
That would make yours stay
Forever
on hers
Is an ocean away.
So, you pray,
A wish beneath a tropic star
That she could be where you are
To hold her close
And just ummm!
Before that last breath
of romance
escapes your lips,
You sigh
a wishy dream
of that gal
Who painted upon your heart
A truly paradise place,
wherever she is
Under her loving rays,
to someday,
melt together
a sunset.

That musical tune

That’s always on my lips
Moving my hips

Lifting me up

Floating on air

As my feet hover

Above the sidewalk

Doing a moonwalk

Making people talk,

“That dude’s in gagaland!”

She really grooves me

And moves me

To boogie
Free

In this love

Dancing

To every beat

Of her soul

Just joyfully 

losing myself

In her bliss

And eventually

Her kiss

This woman’s music carries me

When I’m low

Raises me up

With a smile

And a glow
Make me bust out

That truly shows

Her tunes can get me

On the floor

Inspire me to live more.

I’m blessed

To hold her close

In my embrace
