No Rules Religious Debate, Morgan Bradford

IO (Israel Only) doesn’t offer me salvation, a Christian identity, or a place in God’s covenant family. I don’t need those things. The truth that IO provides doesn’t have to “do” something for me to matter. It just is.

IO tells the truth about the bible, stripped of all the forced personalization, sentimental universalism, and theological gaslighting that has dominated religious teaching for centuries.

IO offers clarity and honesty. It says, “You were never in the story to begin with. The bible was Israel’s covenant story from start to finish. The promises weren’t for you, and they never were.” And once you finally accept that, the confusion stops. You’ll stop scrambling to perform ancient Jewish rituals, make apocalyptic warnings, pretend to have the Holy Spirit and ultimately, you’ll stop pretending to be someone you’re not.

Many people who first see IO in the scriptures ask “Where does that leave me? What should I believe now?”

IO isn’t tasked with providing a replacement belief system. Once free from the Christian delusion, one is able to return to the great questions of life that Christianity provided poor answers for. To find meaning and purpose on our own journey of discovery. We’re able to write our own story and live it out as we choose, if we choose.

IO tends to be a great relief for people who have suffered mental and emotional anguish from the false premises of post-AD70 Christianity’s contrived narrative (for example: all are sinners on the way to a judgement and need salvation) and all the religious nonsense that comes with it.
