Acts 26:6-8
And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors that I am on trial today. 7 This is the promise our twelve tribes are hoping to see fulfilled as they earnestly serve God day and night. King Agrippa, it is because of this hope that these Jews are accusing me. 8 Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?
**NOTICE HOW PAUL CONNECTS GOD'S PROMISES TO HIS ISRAELI ANCESTORS AND NOT THE ENTIRE WORLD. HE GETS MORE SPECIFIC WITH THE PROMISES WERE FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL'S TRIBES! PAUL ALSO CONNECTS THE PROMISES TO THE 12 TRIBES WITH GOD RAISING THE DEAD!
Daniel 12:1-4
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wisewill shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness,like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
James 1:1
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.
*If the New Testament Gospel is for the world, why is James writing only to the 12 Tribes who were scattered??
It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS PROMISED TO ISRAEL ONLY
In The Old Testament, God made a covenant with only Israel. THE presence of God and His HOLY SPIRIT was present with Israel. Israel rebelled, sinned and broke covenant. Israel gets cut off from YHWH’s presence. THE HOLY SPIRIT was then promised to be POURED OUT upon YHWH’s People, Israel (Jacob/ Ephraim) in the future. This took place between 30-70AD during Israel’s LAST DAYS starting on the Day of Pentecost. Yeshua’s fishermen, the Apostles & Disciples FULFILLED their “Great Commission” of fishing out the lost sheep of the house of Israel with The Gospel which was only for Israel by 70AD!
So, how the heck have people since 70AD to today 2025 make the claim that they have The Holy Spirit when The Holy Spirit was only promised to Israel sealing them for the Day of Redemption 70AD!?
Answer: They pick up an ancient book and start reading the last quarter (NT) and ASSUME it’s written to them, for them and about them in whatever year after 70AD that they picked it up. They have a transformational experience and equate that with The Holy Spirit. They do not study the back story of who the Holy Spirit was promised to in the first 3 quarters (OT) because most supposed “Christians” today do not see the OT as important enough to read and study!

1) ISAIAH 63:10-11
BUT THEY REBELLED AND GRIEVED HIS HOLY SPIRIT; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? WHERE IS HE WHO PUT IN THE MIDST OF THEM HIS HOLY SPIRIT,
2) EZEKIEL 18: 30 “THEREFORE I WILL JUDGE YOU, O HOUSE OF ISRAEL, EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS, DECLARES THE LORD GOD. REPENT AND TURN FROM ALL YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS, LEST INIQUITY BE YOUR RUIN. 31 CAST AWAY FROM YOU ALL THE TRANSGRESSIONS THAT YOU HAVE COMMITTED, AND MAKE YOURSELVES A NEW HEART AND AND A NEW SPIRIT! WILL YOU DIE, O HOUSE OF ISRAEL? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.”
3) EZEKIEL 36:22 Therefore SAY TO THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but FOR THE SAKE OF MY HOLY NAME, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. 23 AND I WILL VINDICATE THE HOLINESS OF MY GREAT NAME, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. 24 I WILL TAKE YOU FROM THE NATIONS AND GATHER YOU FROM ALL THE COUNTRIES AND BRING YOU INTO YOUR OWN LAND. 25 I WILL SPRINKLE CLEAN WATER ON YOU, AND YOU SHALL BE CLEAN FROM ALL YOUR UNCLEANNESSES, AND FROM ALL YOUR IDOLS I WILL CLEANSE YOU. 26 AND I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART, AND A NEW SPIRIT I WILL PUT WITHIN YOU. AND I WILL REMOVE THE HEART OF STONE FROM YOUR FLESH AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. 27 AND I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES AND BE CAREFUL TO OBEY MY RULES. 28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29 And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you. 30 I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. 31 Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. 32 It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O HOUSE OF ISRAEL
4) EZEKIEL 39: 25 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, and I will be jealous for my holy name. 26 They shall forget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they dwell securely in their land with none to make them afraid, 27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies' lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.28 Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. 29 And I will not hide my face anymore from them, WHEN I POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, DECLARES THE LORD GOD.”
6) ISAIAH 32:14-20 14 For the palace is forsaken, the populous city deserted; the hill and the watchtower will become dens forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;
15 UNTIL THE SPIRIT IS POURED UPON US FROM ON HIGH, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.
16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness,
and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.
17 And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.
18 My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
19 And it will hail when the forest falls down,
and the city will be utterly laid low.
20 Happy are you who sow beside all waters,
who let the feet of the ox and the donkey range free.
This is what the Lord says— he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
5) JOEL 2: 27 YOU SHALL KNOW THAT I AM IN THE MIDST OF ISRAEL, and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward,
TTHAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH; YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. 29 Even on the male and female servants IN THOSE DAYS I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, BEFORE THE GREAT AND AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD COMES. 32 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.
AACTS 2.
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
14 But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.15 For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 BUT THIS IS WHAT WAS UTTERED THROUGH THE PROPHET JOEL:
17 “‘AND IN THE LAST DAYS IT SHALL BE, GOD DECLARES,
THAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH,
AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;
18 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
20 the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.
21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
Peter established that they were in the last days in Acts 2:16-17.
“....this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 “‘In THE LAST DAYS, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Deuteronomy 4:25-31.
25 “When you father children and children's children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger, 26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. 27 And the Lord will SCATTER YOU AMONG THE PEOPLES, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. 28 And there YOU WILL SERVE gods OF WOOD AND STONE, the work of human hands, that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in THE LATTER DAYS, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. 31 For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.
PAUL WRITING TO THE CHURCH IN CORINTH IS FULFILLMENT OF DEUTERONOMY 4:27, 30.
Deuteronomy 4 speaks of Israel worshipping idols in THEIR LATTER DAYS!
Paul acknowledges this by addressing them (scattered Israel) in Corinth as the pagan gentiles.
1 Corinthians 12:2 NIV
You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.
1 Corinthians 12:2 NKJV
You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.
How could gentile pagans be led astray, carried away or influenced by idols when that’s what they are, idolaters! Hello! One can only be carried away or led astray to idols if one wasn’t an idolater in the first place! That’s Israel, the prodigal son!
1 Corinthians 10:1-3
For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; 2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and all ate the same spiritual food;
If the Corinthians were real 100% pagan gentiles with no Israelite blood, why does Paul include them in Israel’s story that they passed through the sea with Moses????
They are NOT 100% pagan gentiles!
These Corinthians were the scattered Israelites, who became like gentiles, called “gentiles” by their Jewish brothers aka the lost sheep of the house of Israel that Yeshua said He came ONLY for, that YHWH prophesied would be scattered in the latter days worshipping idols like pagan gentiles! And this is exactly what we find here in fulfillment of Deuteronomy 4! It is because Bible students who don’t study the entire Bible, especially the OT, are oblivious to the backstory in the OT being fulfilled in the NT! Smh.
ONLY ISRAEL SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Ephesians 1:13-14
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
Revelation 7:1-8
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
***Amazing how many people do not believe v4 identifying the 144,000 as all the tribes of Israel.
Revelation 9:3-6
And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
*Locust command to HARM ONLY PEOPLE who do not have the SEAL OF GOD on their foreheads. They were not allowed to KILL THEM but ONLY TORTURE them.
