My Valentine (Somewhere Beneath Your Hair) by Tuese Ahkiong

My Valentine
(Somewhere Beneath Your Hair) by Tuese Ahkiong

My Valentine,
My Precious Valentine,
I think of you all the time.
I remember those sweet moments
beneath your hair
As I would stare
into your eyes’ skies.
Underneath the cover
of your skin,
I am blanketed in you.
Snuggled in your love,
I gaze above
At ruby ripe cherries,
ready to fall…
…in love,
in my mouth
…like the rain,
that softly begins
in a misty touch,
nice and slow,
gentle flow.
But before you would collapse
the distance
between our breaths,
And press glee
upon me,
You would smile
For a while,
Knowing that this boy
Is about to experience
some serious joy!
And then it happens!
Heaven falls
upon this man,
As the sweetest kiss
Touches down
And lands.
Your mouth on mine is bliss
Tasting your lips is candyland
As I go sliding around
Your tutti fruiti flavored gloss;
Slipping and sliding
up and down
the curve of your lips.
Tracing the outline of your smile
Your lips-stick to mine
And it’s my heart you find,
My Valentine.
