YHWH MAKES OLD & NEW COVENANTS WITH ONLY ISRAEL

 

 

1. Exodus 6:5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the ISRAELITES, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my COVENANT.

*YHWH remembers His covenant with Israel and not with Samoans, Mexicans and Koreans!

 

2. Exodus 25:22 There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the COVENANT LAW, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the ISRAELITES.

*YHWH’s covenant and commands are with and for ISRAEL!

 

3. Exodus 27:21 In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the COVENANT LAW, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the ISRAELITES for the generations to come.

Lasting ordinance for among who? ISRAELITES

 

4. Exodus 31:16 The ISRAELITES are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting COVENANT.

Who is to observe the Sabbath? THE ISRAELITES

 

5. Exodus 34:27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a COVENANT with you and with ISRAEL.”

Who does YHWH say that He made a covenant with?  Moses and Israel

6. Leviticus 24:8 This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the ISRAELITES, as a lasting COVENANT.

On behalf of ISRAEL’s COVENANT with YHWH

 

7. Numbers 1:53 The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle of the COVENANT LAW so that my wrath will not fall on the ISRAELITE community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the COVENANT LAW.”

ISRAEL ONLY is in COVENANT LAW with YHWH!

 

8. Numbers 18:19 Whatever is set aside from the holy offerings the ISRAELITES present to the Lord I give to you and your sons and daughters as your perpetual share. It is an everlasting COVENANT of salt before the Lord for both you and your offspring.”

ISRAEL ONLY is in COVENANT LAW with YHWH!

 

9. Numbers 25:13 He and his descendants will have a COVENANT of a lasting priesthood, because he was zealous for the honor of his God and made atonement for the ISRAELITES.”

Atonement was made for who?  ISRAELITES.

 

10. Deuteronomy 29:1 These are the terms of the COVENANT the Lord commanded Moses to make with the ISRAELITES in Moab, in addition to the COVENANT he had made with them at Horeb.

Who does YHWH say that He made the covenant with?  Israelites

11. Deuteronomy 29:21 The Lord will single them out from all the tribes of ISRAEL for disaster, according to all the curses of the COVENANT written in this Book of the Law.

Who does YHWH say will eat the curses of the covenant?  Israel

 

12. Joshua 7:11 ISRAEL has sinned; they have violated my COVENANT, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

Who sinned and violated YHWH’s Covenant? ISRAEL

 

13. Joshua 7:15 Whoever is caught with the devoted things shall be destroyed by fire, along with all that belongs to him. He has violated the COVENANT of the Lord and has done an outrageous thing in ISRAEL!’”

Who gets destroyed with fire for violating the COVENANT?  An Israelite.

 

14. 1 Kings 8:9 There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a COVENANT with the ISRAELITES after they came out of Egypt.

Who did THE LORD make a Covenant with?  ISRAELITES

 

15. 1 Kings 8:23 and said: “Lord, the God of ISRAEL, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your COVENANT of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.

Why does the Bible use the phrase, “THE GOD OF ISRAEL” over 200 times if He is also The God of others?

Who did the Lord make a Covenant with?  ISRAELITES.

The God of Israel makes Covenant with whose ancestors that He brought out of Egypt?  ISRAEL
