ANOTHER RAPTURE PREDICTION FAILURE (9/23-24/25) BITES THE DUST!!!

This is the LOONEY that invented THE RAPTURE!
Most likely an early WACKO CHARISMATIC PENTECOSTAL!!!!

Pentecostal wackos love saying BS like, “GOD IS TELLING ME THAT JESUS IS GONNA COME BACK ON FRIDAY….” or “God wants you to know that he’s gonna take your cancer away!”  Always stupid LIES these sensationalists keep pushing bc they’re show offs and want to feel important with their special God connection.
That’s why they’re big on speaking in tongues or word of faith predictions bc they want to feel important as if they’re a spiritual person so they play the show off part of yaba daba Doo gibberish tongues nonsense or shaking twitching falling on the floor and saying it’s the Holy Spirit. All a show bc these folks don’t study Scripture, yet want to feel spiritual!  And when they make predictions in God’s Name saying, “God said He said to me that he’s gonna rapture His church on 9/23-24/2025!!!”  And when it doesn’t happen, this LIAR should be executed!
THE FRICKEN AUDACITY TO LIE IN GOD’s NAME!?

Joshua Mhlakela, a South African individual who identifies as a "simple believer" rather than a pastor, predicted the Rapture would occur on September 23 or 24, 2025. Mhlakela claimed to have received this prophecy directly from Jesus in a dream in 2018.

The theory of the "pre-tribulation rapture" was popularized by
John Nelson Darby in the 19th century and spread by prominent figures like Cyrus I. Scofield. While Darby is considered the father of modern dispensationalism, which includes the rapture, some inspiration may have come from earlier sources.
John Nelson Darby

John Nelson Darby (1800–1882) was a key figure in the Plymouth Brethren movement in England and is widely credited with systematizing the modern pre-tribulation rapture doctrine.
  • Theology: His eschatology (end-times beliefs) was based on dispensationalism, a system that divides biblical history into distinct "dispensations" and separates God's plan for Israel from his plan for the Christian Church.
  • The "Secret" Rapture: Darby taught that Christ would return secretly before a seven-year period of tribulation to "rapture" or seize the Church, saving believers from the suffering to come. This would be a separate event from Christ's public Second Coming at the end of the tribulation.
  • Origin of the idea: Darby reportedly developed his ideas between 1827 and 1830, possibly while recovering from a riding accident, and claimed they "virtually jumped out of the pages of Scripture" once he distinguished between Israel and the Church.
Margaret Macdonald

A related but debated story involves a young Scottish girl named Margaret Macdonald.
  • In 1830, Macdonald, who was part of the charismatic circles of Edward Irving, reportedly had a prophetic vision.
  • The vision described a two-stage return of Christ: a secret rapture of the righteous followed by a period of tribulation.
  • Though her vision may have influenced some, there is no consensus on whether it directly inspired Darby, and some scholars argue Darby had already formed his views independently.
Edward Irving

Edward Irving was a Scottish minister who was a leader in charismatic Christianity and interested in prophecy.
  • Some believe Irving was influenced by Macdonald's vision and began to teach a two-phase return of Christ.
  • Irving's movement eventually became the Catholic Apostolic Church, and his teachings played a role in the prophetic circles of the time.
Cyrus I. Scofield

The spread of Darby's teaching in the United States was largely due to Cyrus I. Scofield and his highly influential reference Bible.
  • Scofield Reference Bible: First published in 1909, this Bible included study notes that explicitly promoted dispensationalism and the pre-tribulation rapture.
  • Widespread Influence: Because the notes were printed alongside the biblical text, many readers adopted the rapture doctrine without realizing it was an interpretive framework rather than part of the original scripture itself. The Bible was widely distributed and cemented dispensationalist thought in many Protestant, fundamentalist, and evangelical circles.
Later popularizers
In the 20th century, the rapture theory was further popularized through commercial media.
  • Hal Lindsey: His 1970 bestseller, The Late Great Planet Earth, sold millions of copies and familiarized a new generation with dispensational eschatology and the rapture.
  • Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins:Their Left Behind series of novels became a cultural phenomenon, selling over 80 million copies and vividly illustrating the rapture and post-rapture tribulation for a mass audience.

Joshua Mhlakela, a South African individual who identifies as a "simple believer" rather than a pastor, predicted the Rapture would occur on September 23 or 24, 2025. Mhlakela claimed to have received this prophecy directly from Jesus in a dream in 2018. His prediction gained significant traction through viral videos on TikTok and other social media platforms, using the hashtag #RaptureTok, and occurred around the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
The Origin of the Prediction
  • The Dream: Mhlakela stated that Jesus told him in a dream in 2018 that He would return on September 23 or 24, 2025, to "take his church".
  • The Interview: This claim was made in a video interview on the YouTube channel Centtwinz TV in June 2025 and subsequently went viral on TikTok.
  • Not a Pastor: Mhlakela emphasized he is not a pastor but a believer.
The Viral Spread
  • #RaptureTok: The prediction became a widespread trend on TikTok under #RaptureTok, with thousands of users posting videos related to the event, including both preparations and satire.
  • Broader Attention: The #RaptureTok trend also spread to other platforms like X and Instagram.
Context of the Prediction
  • Religious Significance:
The dates for the predicted Rapture coincided with the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
  • Historical Context:
The idea of the Rapture and apocalyptic prophecies has a long history, with earlier figures like William Millerand Harold Camping making similar predictions that did not come to pass.
