NIMROD - GREAT GRANDSON OF NOAH

GENESIS 10:1 

This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah’s sons, who themselves had sons after the flood.

GENESIS 10:8-12

 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, inShinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah 12 and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.

MICAH 5:5-6

And he will be our peace
    when the Assyrians invade our land
    and march through our fortresses.
We will raise against them seven shepherds,
    even eight commanders,
6 who will rule the land of Assyria with the sword,
    the land of Nimrod with drawn sword.
He will deliver us from the Assyrians
    when they invade our land
    and march across our borders.

EZEKIEL 8: 14-15

14 Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord, and I saw women sitting there, mourning the god Tammuz. 15 He said to me, “Do you see this, son of man? You will see things that are even more detestable than this.”

Roman Catholics fused their paganism with Christianity like with pagan Christmas. The birth of Mithra, THE SUN GOD on 12/25 became the birthdate of Christ, THE SON OF GOD.  Catholics turned MARY into goddess Easter!
