The word, “know” means to have knowledge in an intimate way, i.e., marital relationships.
YADA is the Hebrew for word, “KNOW.”

***Joseph did not KNOW Mary intimately/sexually UNTIL after she had given birth to Christ.
Luke 1:34 30 Then the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, YOU WILL CONCEIVE IN YOUR WOMB AND BRING FORTH A SON, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, SINCE I DO NOT KNOW A MAN?”
***Mary is sharing the fact that she has not known a man intimately in a sexual manner in order to have a baby.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? ***Jesus is God and knows everything. He is omniscient. So, to not know someone does not mean He does not know about them. Knowing is being used in the sense that He does not know them intimately as His bride, sheep, people, chosen, elect….
